And we come full circle to my restaurant serving rat. You might love it, but it's a pretty poor way to run a business.

Yep. And I'd probably like it if skill gain was more participatory.

You need bind on pickup because of instanced dungeons. Removing the Bind on equip tags from world epics/blues wouldn't be so bad, but you can't have Bind on Pickup removed from instanced drops because you could farm the shit out of them and trade them/give them away because they would have little to no value. In EQ there was only one monster that dropped a certain item, and it either had a long respawn, a placeholder, was totally bad ass and took a raid, or some other factors that added value to the items. Eventually there would be so many instanced items in circulation and that nobody would ever need to run an instance again.

Apart from world epics/blues having BoE removed, I think that raid epics from lock-out instances should have BoP replaced with BoE. I'm still not sure about greens. Would the amount of people selling the things to the vendor instead of flooding the AH make having no BoE on them worthwhile? It seems to me that it'd create more problems with item flooding if they didn't have that tag. I could be wrong, though. Bronze armor in EQ kept its value for two expansions before it became vendor trash...if you were even in those zones anymore.

The only reason I disagree with this is this change would instantaly make gold sellers and ever bigger plague then now. The first BoE items would sell for high ass prices then gold sellers would start buying them and selling them on their sites with massively inflated prices then the next thing you know all BoE items are selling for shit like 20K gold for RAG's hammer!!

Then the only way to ever be able to afford these BoE epics is to buy gold. Ya I'll pass on this idea.

I see now. You're one of those people that looks for reasons to be offended. It must be frustrating to go through life like that.

Remember Rubicite camping? You'd put your name in for the breastplate group and be like #48, and then get into one of the high turnover groups like Legs/Bracers. From there you'd wait for 6 of THOSE pieces to drop, and then move into the Helm area, and wait for another 6 of THOSE to drop. From there you might elect to stay in (hey it was pretty good exp up there comparatively), and then you might eventually be called into the breastplate group, some 24 hours after putting your name on the list.

And the motherfucker who took your name? Yeah, he's still in the group.

Jboots from Najena were way worse than the Rubicite camps, list like 5 days long.

Actually, it was so for a few weeks. Then CCP got tired of people leaving ship to shoot at asteroids in 1.0 while they slept.
