Information will flow when it hits the PTR anyhow so I'm not sure why they are playing it so close to the vest here. Oh well, it doesn't really matter I suppose.

New raiding guild didn't work out for you?

I wouldn't go so far as to say we knew it for certain, but no one was thinking otherwise.

It's an open invitation, but the work required to do it just might not be worth it to me.

November is still a long time away and that's making a huge assumption it doesn't get delayed.

Why the fuck did they feel the need to play the WoW background music during the entire podcast? Irritating as shit.

Crazy talk. It would be Prot Paladin, Shadow Priest, Holy Priest, Warlock, Elemental Shaman. And I'd probably take any two dps in those slots unless there's some sort of gimmick that favors one class greatly. I definitely wouldn't take a holy paladin though; they are the worst possible 5 man healer imo.

I too am very disappointed in the difficulty comments they made. Shadow Labyrinth and Shattered Halls are trivial even on heroic, and I was hoping for a 5 man on normal mode equal to at least those zones on heroic, and a heroic mode that was 5-man-ZA difficulty. Couple that with the news from last week that they are not adding in anymore badge loot (or even a new badge for new loot) and I am really not looking forward to this at all.

The Sunwell raid loot concept doesn't excite me much either. Loot sounds like all drops rather than tokens, and I'd be willing to bet their idea of paladin loot and warrior loot will end up with the [prot] paladins choosing to wear the warrior items in most slots, just like everything else outside of the tiered sets.

Holy Priests are better at mitigating AE damage and prepping for bursts.

The only reason I'd choose a holy paladin over others is the potential necessity of blessings. With the prot paladin handling that I'd go straight to having a holy priest. I love holy priests. They're my favorite 5 man healer when tanking isn't dogshit retarded, and it's hard to fuck that up as a prot paladin.

Vorph's group is perfect for most fights. He just can't decurse with that set-up, but that's rarely necessary.

If Heroic Shattered Halls is trivial for you, then the upcoming 5-man is obviously NOT for you.

I don't know what the fuck armor you're wearing, but with a group wearing mostly all Karazhan Epics, that shit is still rough.

Heroic Shattered Halls isn't a gear check, it's more a question of how familiar you are with the instance itself. After running it many times for attuning people (in yeah, mostly kara epics) it becomes pretty trivial and especially so these days.
