Here's what you don't know -- original quote "A shadow priest," not "A Shadow priest on Illidan and Illidari council," not "A shadow priest in the top raid guild on the server," "A shadow priest," You don't know where this scrub is in the realm of progression. A fresh 70 priest with shit for gear and 600 damage with his 3 pieces of FSW isn't at the same gear level where using mind blast every cooldown is even feasible. I said before, I see what you're saying. I said before I don't really care what you use it on, because my priest uses it on the 3rd option, which is a 1145 mana 3 min cooldown DOT. And what no one here is saying is "Oh, yeah, I guess for people who aren't at the bleeding fucking edge, that might be an option."

As far as priests go, if you are shadow then DoTimer is a must. If holy then mendwatch I've heard is good for monitoring your ProM's. I've never played a hunter nor asked my guild mates that play ones what mods they use to help in playing one. I would guess whatever generic mods most people use for aesthetic reasons plus some macro's for shot cycles in PVE.
