ATI has been riding the failboat lately. Hopefully they can design a GPU that can compete with nvidia in the near future.

Nvidia has a 9800x2 coming out in a couple of months as well. It's going to own this just like the 8800s owned the previous ATI cards.

How far along in development are flexible screens? I saw some development back in 05 by Samsung and Phillips but haven't heard anything since.

OLEDs have been in constant development. The main thing they are trying to do with them is increase the color + resolution. In theory, the shit you see in sci-fi movies or movies (magazines with videos playing inside, the magic newspaper in Harry Potter) could become a reality in the semi-near future.

If ATI/AMD would open source their drivers..... and add stereoscopic driver support and figure out how to get multiple (3+) video cards working in crossfire together..... it would beat nvidia.

I really doubt that. The majority.. I'm going to say 95%+ of consumers don't give a rats ass about SLI or CrossFire.
