unfortunately for now, the biggest OLED TV in production for consumer use is only 27". when they can increase the size to say 42" or more, they are going to fucking own (if you can afford one that is).

Last I heard the 11" OLED TV was released in Japan for like $4,000 or something.

Love that guy in the bottom pic with his arms making a "who's da man?!" gesture. Very cool monitor, and it even looks slightly curved to create a better illusion of peripheral vision.

Huge Monitor: Alienware Curved Monitor Looks Like It's From Another Planet

end of this video shows it in action and cant say it looked that great with the bars that show up that separate the screens or whatever.

This should become the new standard. Ultrawidescreen wraparound.

I was just going to ask if there was a line in the second picture above. Like they've literally taken 2 monitors and removed the plastic on 2 edges, rather than make one large monitor.

Still, pretty neat.

if it were three screens there would no line in the middle which would go over a lot better but from the video it looks like its 4 screens putting one of the lines dead center.

I highly doubt those projections are crisp and easy to see in daylight, as they're portraying it in those pics.

Nah it's two I'm sure if it's 2880x900. 2x 1440x900 widescreener's. Still neat but yeah... would've been better if it was 3 non-widescreens. Games need to be designed from the ground up to not have the seams I'd imagine.

TFA says this "You can see the seams between this monitor's four segments, but the Alienware humanoids tell us that flaw will be gone by the time this craft lands on Earth. The blacks look a bit washed out to our eyes, too. Price is yet to be determined."

Will be real nice w/o the seams and with games supporting it.
