I'm glad I wasn't the only one. Mobs don't spawn infront of me? Instead they jump out of windows and die in a few hits. This totally paves over any reasoning that I'm walking through a town in the middle of night blowing the shit out of everything. Headshots? No way! I can already imagine how cool I would feel when an npc gets a lucky shot! "Bond moments" being some girl kicking this shit out of an npc in melee combat that was probably a single button. maybe i'm just too cynical these days.

This video looks like some fraps shit they threw together at the last minute. I certainly hope this is not one of their vehicles for actually selling the game. To add to that, the game play looks painfully slow, the graphics look about 5 years old, and I find nothing interesting about headshots or mobs jumping out of windows at me.

You can't have Assassin's Creed graphics in an MMO Shooter - well unless it limit's the people in the world to 32 like a FPS deathmatch. Besides graphics arguments remind me of VG, and we all know how well that went.

You run through a town at night and npcs are hiding in every nook and cranny, yet you would rather have them pop in front of you through the floor? There is a HUGE difference between Assassin's Creed/Vanguard graphics and The Agency graphics. I don't know how in the world anyone could compare the two.

Remember that to take the MMORPG genre to the next level we need more dynamic MOBs. The days of the EQ-type MOBs that stand around in a cluster waiting to be killed must end. Tabula Rasa has a variation of how MOBs are generated and that is a good start but the real next gen MMO will go further. Maybe this is it, maybe not, but keep an open mind. For the shake of argument, I will be the Tad10 for The Agency.

James Bond huh? This reminded me of all the ninja games that had zero stealth, evasion, and espionage in them and nothing but what ninjas would consider a last resort. All I saw was "FPS MMO." Goldeneye on the N64 had more spy shit than that trailer. I don't get why they just don't use some sort of military motif if it's all run and gun. If they just didn't show it in that trailer, then I would say that is retarded for a game called "The Agency" presented by a dev who specifically mentions both James Bond and Alias. Nice A-Team moments where they just stood there firing at mobs and making no attempt to strafe, take cover, etc though. Old Thresh videos from the '90s are more interesting. P.S. lasers need fog or dust in the air to be visible

+38 Internets | 1) It is a demo trailer that was a year ago, meaning it was probably their only zone at that time. 2) They are probably dev buffed so they could show limited game play mechanics instead of dieing constantly. 3) Since it was a year ago and you could very well call it "alpha" they aren't going to show off all their sauce in one lump sum. 4) Beta hasn't even been announced, so you could say that all the cool kickass James Bond shit isn't completed. It is retarded to trash a game when the only content you have available is 2 gameplay trailers that where made 1+ year ago. Speaking of which, being a downright negative nancy before you even touch the game is asinine. They have been ridiculously quiet about this game for quite sometime, you are entitled to your own opinion and thoughts but going out of your way to insinuate "This game is the worst thing in the world, omgwtf Goldeneye owns" discredits everything you have to say. Before I make harsh judgments upon a game, I test it out first. Untill then you might as well pose concerns instead of straight balls to the walls bashing.

Ya which is kind of funny the bitchers should know better by now I mean what most people here have been playing MMo's going on 10 years? I personaly agree with waiting to see a game first hand watching a video that looks like it was just projected onto a Screen about 100x the size of what your monitor would be where the graphics get all distorted. Then you have the game play basicly done as a walk thru so its purpousely slow for the retarded people out there that can't keep up. I think what was shown has potential especialy if the combat system stays more in line with Traditional FPS's and not towards the Turn based systems most MMO's use.
