re:

The reactions of every single poster here have been short sighted, ignorant and just down right stupid.

I'll let you idiots try and figure out the trend.

Edit: Oh wait, Narale broke the chain.

Does this mean they are going to farm out their CS to North America?

The trend was people were shocked and upset when they should be thankful. No more mediocre crappy games being put on lifesupport, aka the Station Pass.

SMED was the manager of a FAILED business division that now the Corporate HQ (not without fault for hiring the fuck to begin with) decided to stick a fork in while there's still time.

Looks like someone finally took the axe to the dying dog. I don't believe Zapak has any interest in the US market and may just localise the games for the Asian market and re-launch them there.

I don't know enough about these things, but if Smed says it's false, then perhaps it is. I couldn't imagine why he'd lie if it were true, but I could imagine indiamedia or whatever company the source was making a mistake. Sounds like a deal was made, perhaps the reports just got it wrong. I don't really know.

Kinda bums me out, though. Was good news.

How would this ever be good news? How would this, if it were true (which it is not), be a good thing?

The only way it would be perceived as a good thing is if you were a complete douche bag who would like to see games that hundreds of thousands of people play fail. I hope thats not accurate???

Every gaming company in the world(particularly Sony) has a distinct history of blantantly lying about leaked info until such a time as they want to release it themselves. Take the PS3 price cut~
