| Posted by LFG from EQ2flames I apologize to Scott Hartsman for any misunderstanding or harm I may have caused him by posting what I did immediately above. In the case of what I posted regarding his allegeded involvement in the moves from Test to Unrest, what I posted was rumor, and I never presented it to be confirmed fact. I've known Scott Hartsman since the first EQ2 Fanfaire. He has always been 100% truthful, straight up, and honest with me. He has gone out of his way to do cool things (above board, all of them) for people on this site on numerous occasions. And he has always done everything possible to make sure we were included here, at times when nobody else would give us the time of day. So I thank Scott for all his past friendship to me and the users on this site. I will categorically state that based on my past dealings with him, he is is far more credible, and I believe him much more, than any players I've received information from during this drama. God speed Scott in your career move, and I hope this small drama hasn't tarnished your great accomplishments in EQ2. What remains unknown then, is who engineered these transfers. Hopefully, more will be incoming on that soon Last edited by Perramas; 12-14-2007 at 01:23 PM.. |

+44 Internets | It's rather hilariously not. Thanks. I've mailed LFG and let him know he's being played.

| You're the go-to guy for making the D- kid into a B average game. If only you were in charge of more. And I'm sure that you'll post here, first, to let us know what you're doing. Since LFG is so wrong, and all. |

| This sucks. I was just telling an rl friend of mine today that EQ2 wouldn't be even halfway playable without Hartsman. I don't think people remember how bad the game was before he took over. I remember asking him about the over-handed use of control and extremely tight play mechanics here on the FOH boards. His response was that EQ2 had alot to offer, and that he didn't want things like an excess amount of control to ruin the gameplay. He was going to make changes whether or not it jived with the original team's vision. He did what he said he'd do. Now you tell me that the producer that was there before launch is taking back the reins? I wonder how long it will take the game to get back to "screwed up" status. I think we've seen the best that there is to offer by EQ2. Time to cancel my EQ2 sub. Hartsman at the helm has been that important. |
