People will pay; for the sentimental value alone. This idea is genius and this company will rake in ridiculous amounts of $$.

Oh I agree It's genius and people will pay. I don't have a personal attachment to my WOW toon to spend 100 bucks on it. Thats just me. I can see tons of people who do though.

I'd probably spend $25.00 on it for shits and giggles. Great christmas present type of thing.

If I still played WoW I'd definitely get one, or I'd buy one for my brother for christmas, etc. Brilliant idea.

Wow your a fucking idiot eh. Typical American who has never fucking left his couch and reads forums all day and assumes everything made in China is broken.

Did you know your Ipod was made in China, most of Sony, samsung, panasonic, most parts in all the cars you drive or see others driving. Just because it has an amercian brand on it means shit now. I guaranteee 75% of your belongings are made in China.

Honestly, to many people 100 isn't that big of an issue. If I could get this done of my FFXI character I would instantly-

But yeah, there is no way they have a monopoly at all in this. All they have to do is provide the software to convert a model viewer model into an IGES file or something and the machines to turn IGES files into a 3D plastic model have been around for several years.

Hell, you can get this done on your own if you can do the software convert. From China. For like $10.~
+ all the fandom from this thread.... i smell business idea.

I never understood the love for figurines. I'd rather spend the 100 bucks on booze or a new game for my 360.

The interweb white knight has run to save China from a snide remark made in jest. We can all rest easier now that my perceptions have been corrected.

With a figure, you get something you can look at on your desk.

With $100 worth of booze, you get something you can look at inside your toilet

bump

I was finally chosen for a FigurePrint. Unfortunately, with Wrath, my overall look is hardly unified.

Anyone here personally own one? have any pictures of it and your impressions? love it? hate it?

I seen them displaying them at Blizzcon, they were neat I guess, but the quality wasn't nearly as good as I was expecting for the price.
