 | [WoW] MP5 On Enhancement Gear About a year ago I made a post saying how MP5 was a wasted stat on PvP/PvE armor for an enhancement shaman. I got the typical "lawl enhancement, respec resto" responses and even a few telling me I needed to learn to play because MP5 was the best stat I could get..... Even before the changes to Water Shield and the the new Focus talent, I was able to control mana useage with the use of consmeables in long fights with just Shamanistic Rage. Granted I would sometimes go OOM, but I would just sit there and regen mana while I dropped agro and auto attacked with WF. Back then I thought it was a waste of stat points. Skip to today when people now understand that an enhancement shaman in end game raiding when specced, geared, socketed, enchanted and PLAYED correctly can compete with any pure DPS class for a top 5 spot on DPS meters in 25 man raids, and top 2 in a 10 man. On top of that they are THE biggest boost to a melee DPS group. Also, thanks to the addition of/changes to focus and water shield, mana is no longer an issue. Now there is a 50 page thread with almost 1k posts of people who now realize how much of a wasted stat it is, and that it needs to be removed; (WoW Forums -> Mana per 5 on Enhance gear) However, besides being unlocked by a CM, this post has not recieved a reply giving us a heads up on if it is even being looked at or talked about. MP5 needs to be removed from ALL Tier/PvP sets and replaced with Str/Agi/Crit/Hit/AP (not all of those, pick one....any one) and on higher tier sets even ArPen/Haste. ANY melee based stat. Right now for example, the S3 Vengeful Gladiator's Set has 17 MP5. That is 42 stat points (1 MP5 is 2.5 stat points). If this were converted to Str that would be 84 attack power, 92 with Kings. No matter what you convert it to as far as melee stats go, it would be a much appreciated and needed change. The T6 Enhancement set also has more MP5 than the T6 Elemental set. That makes no sense at all. Ultimately, this is so we can stop taking leather from Rog's/Druids. Some preemptive strikes though: My boyfriend will beat you up. I am a retard. My wife is ugly. I guess I am trying to see if most people are of the consensus that this is a needed change, and if so, why has this issue not been looked at even though it has been requested for over a year now? If it is being looked at, why has nobody let us know it is actually being considered? Shamans are now the least played class according to Warcraft Realms. Just under druids. Only 1/3 are actually level 70's. About half of the druids are level 70's which brings the actual percentage of shaman's played even lower if you only count the level 70's. Why is that?

+17 Internets | I agree completely and if you voice it enough it will probably happen. They are doing changes for Ret Paladins, and you guys are a hell of alot more useful than those fucks. Hopefully it's sooner rather than later. |

| Although I don't agree that its as wasted as spirit use to be for allot of gear I will admit its not as optimal. Every guild needs an enhancement shaman though and I don't mind when I get bid up on a non-set leather item she could use. She does high dps and has good attendance. |

I also think you would be hard pressed to find a S3 set that has wasted stat points like the Shaman Enhancement S3 does.
