This seems about as reliable as the Planescape Torment sequel rumor - some guy posting on a forum, and 10 news sites linking to the forum post.

That would be nice.

I'm really hoping to see something compelling come out of there, and having Gallenite on the team would definitely give me hope that it'll be something more than just good ideas.

LFG, the admin at EQ2Flames, isn't just some guy. I'd say he is 90% reliable in his information. This seems like the right time to go too, after the release of Kunark and before the next dev phase gets going.

LFG is pretty reliable about stuff going on at SoE, he has contact with alot of the employees at EQ2.

Plus, one of those links on EQ2Flames is a link to an early announcement of SoE's new producer in German or something.

Scott is a gamer first, developer second, I think this helped him a lot in delivering something good.

He was good for EQ2, certainly, but I think he wasn't alone in the resurrection of the game and also I think it was too late even for him to actually change all the things that should be changed to make it an AAA game.
Anyway good luck to him, hope whatever he pushes out next will be a success.

EoF was very nice, RoK is good but has the shittiest itemization ever, I guess I can't blame him for that.
