Web browser MMO games.

Anyone know any good browser-based MMOs? I've been playing AstroEmpires and I was wondering if there were any other good browser-based MMOs, particularly space 4X type games with full PvP.

http://www.fallensword.com/?ref=725645 is a fantasy web MMO game with pvp and guild wars. You can easily get into a top 50 guild if you are active, which helps a lot.

They have a space game but I haven't played it much really. It looks like it might be decent if you are into the space thing.

If you don't care about a graphical environment, I used to play this game: OGame.

"OGame is a strategic space simulation game with thousands of players across the world competing with each other simultaneously. All you need to play is a standard web browser."

It's a pretty awesome game and you can generally get away with playing it once a day for 10-20 minutes until you become fairly powerful (then you have to start worrying about planets you control getting destroyed and whatnot).

Think of it kinda like EVE without graphics, except you control an entire Corporation instead of a single unit, and there's a lot more of the traditional strategy elements involved (gathering fuel and such).

If you don't mind the almost non-existent graphics, Urban Dead is a fun game to kill your lunch hour with.

Urban Dead - A Free Massively Multi-Player Web-Based Zombie Apocalypse

Zombie MMO ftw.

Astro Empires rocks! Just open an account on all 4 servers, that will keep you busy.

Pimp War has been around a long time. Not much in the way of graphics but its full on PVP.

I tried it, kept logging me out and other weirdness. The German Engrish also bothered me.

This Murloc web based RPG is pretty good. No MMO or PvP but nice time killer.

Travian takes months to finish, and turns into a full time job.

I highly suggest you go into the venture with a friend or four and split the account or you'll go crazy when you get up to 20+ cities and heavy resource management.
