| Depends A lot depends on the your guilds culture. In our current guild if I join a 10-man in between raids around 50% of those in the raid have a long term partner and kids. Female members are all in relationships and play with their partners in the guild. The atmosphere and relationships are very different from when I played in a guild with mostly young guys and the very rare single female. How a guild is composed and led contribute a lot to driving member behavior. |

| Anyone who plays so much WoW that they can't put the shit down long enough to meet another human being for a real relationship isn't worth meeting in the first place. With that said, however, the freaks of nature who make use of such a service are made for each other. |

| Anyone who does or ever has done drugs is an idiot, a villain and is likely living in a gutter somewhere. If you can't understand someone's half baked and poorly presented logic you're obviously an idiot. Oh wait, no. |

| Vegemite needs neither knocking nor praising. Vegemite, much like the forums themselves, just is.

+1 Internets | What? Smoking cigarettes and doing drugs are vastly different things. No, "starting" is not the same as "not stopping." I realize that decades ago the ill effects of tobacco and drugs were poorly understood at best. But in a more enlightened society where we know how cigarettes will kill you, and what heroine does to the body... there's absolutely no excuse to start doing them. "Book smart" is a common term and I honestly think you're just being argumentative by pretending you don't know what it means. If nothing else you can check urban dictionary for a plethora of commonly understood meanings... no it doesn't actually refer to a specific book or set of books (in case you really believe that). Nor, anywhere did I claim that all drugs are bad. Easy examples include codeine and even aspirin. Hell you can even use pot as an example as a drug that has good uses. The obvious interpretation of my discontent was "recreational use of dangerous drugs." It wasn't meant to be an all encompassing statement, and I apologize if that wasn't crystal clear to people that don't natively speak English. Last edited by Trebla : 12-03-2007 at 09:33 AM. |
