Well, as soon as the game is back up I'm cancelling my sub and probably returning to FFXI or another game. I avoided SOE like the plague after their CS in EQ and it took me a good few years to be lured in to EQ2 by some old guildees. Now, after four months of this kind of thing, namely Friday EU primetime downtime and lost days gaming, I'm more than a little angry at myself for giving them another chance and more of my money.

Not being able to log in to cancel my account or post my anger on their boards is just the icing on the cake.

The GMs are better in EQ1, but there are no guides, so the petition service is piss poor. However, I still think Brother Xave > all.

Just blame me, of course it crashes the morning after I resubscribe. What a way to welcome people back. Guess they got their month from me though... its like getting that tire alignment when I didn't need it all over again.

If you lived through the first few months of WoW with constant downtime, and the horrible lag on Illidan for the next 1.5 years after that before they finally upgraded our server, you realize most other MMOs downtime pales in comparison :P

I've logged back in again. I got one of their postcards for free expansions/activation til the 4th as well. Guess I'll see how I feel about it when it gets closer to see if I continue. I rolled on AB as well. I need more char slots damnit! HEHE
