| Spot on. Nope. One of the very few games I bought played and walked away from 10 days later wondering why I'd bothered. Low level PvP (under 8th level if memory serves me) was kind of fun, if a bit monotonous. But high level PvP consists of waiting 20 minutes for a team to form, getting into the fight and being wiped out in 30 seconds, and then the team breaking up. Yay, fun! Unless you're in a regular and dedicated PvP group/guild I don't think you'll find it very enjoyable. |

| I never solo'd the team arenas tbh. If I was doing solo at the high end, I'd go the random grouping arenas, never had to wait more than 30 seconds for a fight. Yes, this game is mostly about organized, group pvp. on that note, if anyone wants to group up and play around together, i've got the three core games, but don't have a reason at this point to get the xpac as I never have anyone to play with. Shoot me a PM as I'm always up for group oriented game play. |

+1 Internets | Last time I played there was a "FOTM cheese training arena" of sorts where you could take your group or just yourself and henchies versus a computer-operated premade team of different types of FOTM builds that were popular at some point in time (full group of trap rangers, etc), which is probably the closest you will get to some kind of comp-stomp pvp activity. |

| I'm considering checking this out. Is the original the way to go? I'm seeing a platinum edition on their site that includes the original and Eye of the North, however it seems to conspicuously be missing both the same "Buy Now" button that all the other packs have and completely from the PlayNC store. |

| To break it down: Prophecies is a balance between story/get to the end. It's moderately paced. Factions is really fast, less engrossing storyline, mainly just to get you to the end and start pvping. Nightfall is story heavy. paced very well, very good story as well. I'd go for one of the "expansion" versions as that nets you 2 extra classes over Prophecies and more skills for pvp (I believe). I'd snag Nightfall, as I found it to be the most fun. |

| I concur, go for Nightfall, it's the one that took everything that worked with Prophecies and improved upon it. Personally I enjoyed all three, but Nightfall is probably the best of the three.

| I'm playing the Prophecies campaign right now and it's pretty fun too... ..although I have to admit that the new classes sound cool as hell. I'm a Monk/Ranger now, but seriously considering buying Factions to pick up Assassin as my secondary class. Being able to Shadowstep as a healer is almost as cool as having a wolf pet. Almost. |

| Some people don't actually play a game just for PvP. PvP in WoW is decent, but the polish the game has is what makes it so attractive to me. Guild Wars might have "challenging" pvp, but the gameplay was terrible. |
