+29 Internets | If you are wanting to purchase a subscription to get into RoK beta, that offer ended long ago...

| I wouldnt even call it a magazine. It was a booklet with player-made fanfic in the world of Everquest. At least thats what it looked like from the website they had up for ordering it. Pretty lame attempt at cashing in on the beta invite if you ask me.

| No way am I paying money for a fanmade magazine unless it was advertised as such. Kind of disappointing to hear what they did with it. Hope people enjoy the beta they paid for!

+9 Internets | EQuinox or however it was written has been a total delusion if I can dare saying that. First it wasn't worth the price at all, let alone the huge mail fee, second, while it was graphically well done, I didn't like at all the guild advertising thing. There were articles in it of abysmal low quality in terms of usefulness, at least they were written in plain English. Maybe someone should have thought that a magazine for a solid "old" playerbase, shouldn't have focused on "how to use the broker" and stuff like that, but on some more intriguing aspects of the game. If they think anyone is crazy enough to buy 24 issues of that magazine to read the class guide in them (that is honestly useless even to a total newbie), I can only say 'good luck', you're gonna need it. I got it for collection value, for the same reason I buy the collector's edition of each game I buy, for sure I'm not touching an eventual 2nd issue with a 10ft pole. |

| I don't understand the purpose of gaming magazines anymore unless they have some super editorials and great writing. Even then, all reviews, strategies, and debate I could ever want is easily found online for free. |
