I wish you had the option of making your first normal character an elite character without having to start over at level 1. I really like the engineer and would like to continue with her but don't really want to do 31 levels of it again in elite mode. Perhaps give that option after beating the game in both normal non-elite and nightmare non-elite modes?

There's pretty much no reason to play elite though. The mobs hit harder and have more hit points. Thats about it. There are more rare and elite mobs, but when all they do is drop more useless green random crap, doesn't seem like much of an incentive. Some people may like the challenge, but I kind of see Elite mode as just a slow leveling, overly difficult mode with no reward for playing harder.
