| So by "spirtual successor to D2" what we meant was "Blizzard wasn't really sad to see them go as we originally thought?" Makes you miss Blizzard polish. And yes, WoW was buggy as shit when it got released too...just not so buggy or gay that you didn't want to play it. It was a mystical point between "buggy piece of shit" and "tell my friends about this because its so good" that kept you hooked. I've yet to see a game replicate a Blizzard launch of an MMO; but maybe I'm just older. I don't know, because I sure as hell don't pay people anymore to run an embarassing game. |

| With all the new games out this christmas season for PC and consoles, I wonder how Hellgate will end up faring? The Koreans invested a lot of money in it, I wonder if they'll slowly abandon the US/EU market and focus on Asia or try and relaunch when its polished up in a few months? |

+1 Internets | Speaking as a Jewish guy, that's hilarious. It's some kind of pre-emptive psychological strike that comes off as more racist than the thing it's designed to prevent. Anyway, yeah. Right now I'm among the multitude idly wondering if their post-launch development funding is enough to finance the reversal of their pre-launch fuckery. |

- I didn't get the cutscenes while my boyfriend did - After both of us died once, Sydonai dumbly stuck on my drone who seemed to be lodged in some rocks and just regularly melee'd him. All I did was use repair drone every cooldown, and my boyfriend used PoH and he stayed up easily while we whittled him down. Boring! I had been hoping for a good challenge. Then he got all Evoker/Summoner uniques/legendaries as usual. The disappearing group member bug makes partying pretty much worthless, even in a duo it's aggravating. Any more than than and it's not worth the effort. I'm shocked they didn't patch that out yet. | |

| They just announced that the 'disappearing group member bug' is history this week with a new patch. Lots of nerd rage in this thread against a simple, casual, fun, shoot 'em up... Say... Can anyone spot what's wrong with this sentence?: "I just finished the game for the second time on nightmare and can only say that it is the most worthless piece of shit in the history of pieces of shit" |

| No, it wasn't. The only thing that sucked when WoW got released was the population and server lag. If server lag didn't affect the players, then there wouldn't have been several free months of subscription handed out in the first few days of going live.
