I can't figure out why every time I summon my drone i get the message "Requirements not met, equipment removed". It seems to keep the equipment I give it just fine. | |

| You may want to visit a doctor. I'm not trying to be an asshole, I'm not being sarcastic. That's not normal at all to become tired from playing a game, unless you're just trying to bash the game in a new and creative way. |

+1 Internets | I am shelving this game for another 6 months. If it is still around I may dust it off and play it, but I am just going to avoid frustrating myself any further with this pile of dung in its current state. My biggest regret is not going with my first impulse to wait and see. I feel like I failed in my role as a consumer to vote with my dollar that I will not buy shit that is completely broken and not finished. I failed. ![]()

+38 Internets | This game is having an identity crisis. So I was running along at level 32. I was playing the game as normal, advancing through the story, finished act 1, but as I was going to the second station in act 2, I realized the game was starting to get really hard. My gun wasn't really doing as much damage, mobs were raping me. I kept on persevering and made it to Green station. I started to head to Oxford station, and the first mob in there was a little Firesnap. I open up on it and nothing happens. Its health is litterally inching down. I have to beacon+rapid fire at point blank range to even dent it. At this point I'm seriously perplexed. Then I look at the mobs level. Its level 41. 9 Levels above me. W T F. So I guess, I have to grind now like a normal MMO. I don't ever remember having to grind in Diablo. The pacing just got seriously screwed up. If you REALLY want us to be 50 by the end of the game, we need a "hell" difficulty instead of finishing the game at nightmare. |

Cow runs? But yeah, that typically only came after you got to Hell difficulty. The pacing in D2 was spot on, you generally kept up with the mobs with no problem.

+13 Internets | I'm pretty sure the leveling curve is fucked all to hell in nightmare. There's endless threads bitching about it on the forums. I think grouping would actually make the problem even worse, because that significantly boosts the damage and HP of mobs.

+2 Internets | As I understand it at level 50 you can't really finish the game on NM. Once you start meeting +9 mobs, you can't really dent them at all. The final mobs in A5 Nightmare are 60-62, and as such even at max level you're underpowered for them. So yeah, the pacing has problems.

| one thing i found neat is that you can blow body parts off a zombie and it will still try to attack. this particular mini-boss is just chasing me with his legs. i've blown off arms and other things so far. and btw the game can look better than this pic. i had a stick of ram go out on me so i can't crank the settings up much more than this. |

+1 Internets | Anyone else feel like this is one of, if not the buggiest released games ever? Even if you ignore the crashing and visual bugs (party members disappearing for one) and just consider the gameplay bugs, the sheer number present is amazing. Look at the quest boards and see how many people's characters are ruined by the fact that they crashed during some quest and can no longer complete that quest. Then there are the bugged quest items which you have no way of removing from your inventory (besides banking them) because for some reason you aren't allowed to destroy them. On top of everything else, they decide to release a crappy content patch that adds hundreds are particle effect fires all over that you can not scale down or turn off. Many people (including myself) went from getting easily 50-60 fps with high settings to getting 5-15 fps because of these fires. Places like Eastcheap are almost unplayable at points. I'm not saying the game is bad, because I think it could be a lot of fun if they could just get their act together. The only problem is this game feels more like an alpha build than even a beta .. and it has already been released. Anyone considering buying this, I'd really suggest you not spend the money at this point. Wait to see if they fix things. I am really hoping that they do. |
