As for the NDA, yea people are more prone to breaking NDAs when the game suck or it's just no their type of game. For example I didn't care much about breaking the Tabula Rasa or Gods and Heroes NDA, because I don't like the first and the second blows. On top of that they're both pretty accessible to everyone. I wouldn't break the NDA on warhammer (yet) or hellgate tho(even tho this one probably doesnt matter much, it's not even a mmo). If you don't hear legions of people saying it sucks, it's probably decent enough.

| The irony being that much of the strength of the "creators of Diablo" pedigree comes from Blizzard's insistence that nothing be shipped before it is 100% ready. Despite all the issues that did exist with both WoW and Burning Crusade in terms of some specific balancing details and missing content at launch the actual game engine was rock hard solid and had been so for pretty much a calendar year prior to release. |

WoWs 'beta' was more a publicity blitz rather than a proper beta. Its an insult to our intelligence that they even called it a beta. They'd already had their true beta, locked down their game and ignored most of the feedback they got. As you indicate, they had the funds to be able to do this thanks to the ongoing success of the games created by Bill Roper and his team. I'm in HG:L beta and in the game. I'm not going to break the NDA. Its not breaking the NDA to stand by my opinions of how the game is and will do, based on what I knew before I was in beta. Search my previous posts to see my opinions of this game.

+7 Internets | *shrugs* A lot of the feedback I gave during beta was responded to, quite often tbh. The game changed quite a lot during beta, they completly reworked everything at one point (beta3->beta4). Rather than a game that scales endlessly they choose to make a static level cap implement the item value system they have now. I miss level 99 city guards that you could actually hit at level 40 ![]() |

LINK: Pre-order from gamestop.com? - Hellgate Guru Forums Read all of link to see multiple people getting keys.... The problem isn't going to be getting your key as pre order boxes should have them in them and they will be in stores monday. The problem right now is after to redeem your code how many waves are you going to have to wait before your account is activated. I would guess the going rate right now is 2-3 waves which is about 2 days....

| FYI for anyone else considering ordering, Gamestop sends out their keys only once a week on thursday if you go through their online store, and you have to pay the full amount up front. Better to walk in somewhere if you can. Still waiting on my key from a 60+ hours old order, according to their support I should see it today. |

| For folks who are super antsy to get in, keep in mind pre-ordering online pretty much means you will likely not be playing the game on launch day. Most places are going to ship on Oct 30th, and the servers open on the 31st. Unless they have announced that beta accounts will have a grace period (like LOTRo did) where they can still play without a valid retail key. I really, really doubt FSS is going to enforce the NDA either. They don't have a legal leg to stand on since you are actually paying now for access to the beta, rather than being given it for free, especially since there is no mention at all of the NDA when you actually pay for your pre-order. And lets face it, its way to late to make any substantive changes to the game which is the point of NDAs (dont talk about shit thats not done). |

I pre-ordered my copy from Gamestop on the 16th and got my key the 18th (A Tuesday) Not that I neeed the key but I want to lay it in retail. Also a pre-order key doesn't get you into the beta immediately. After you register your pre-order key you get put into a pool of possible candidates. They send out a wave of invites to random people once a day so far. You will eventually get invited but its a bit of luck on how early you get selected.
