Don't bother with it if you found VG too hardcore on the grind Saban, FF11 is like 50 times worst, but it is a fun game.

Any euro people started up on Fenrir along with all the US interest? This thread got me intrigued enough to throw 15 pounds at play.com to get the all-in boxset and give it a whirl.

If memory serves the only real hassle is opening up the initial subjob quest (i.e. you have to get the first job you choose to 17 or so?) and then you can pretty much proceed as and how you like?

I seem to be suffering from the same ADD disorder half this board has, I have a Kara running priest that is now boring me in WoW and i sure as hell arent levelling another class so soon after the last one. I have a station pass thats sitting there unused as I cant summon the enthusiasm to log into any of eq/eq2 or vg. Maybe I'm just turning into a grumpy old git (closer to 40 than 30)

I'm English. I was on Fenrir when I first played and quit in April '06. Back then there were only a handful of Euros but now it seems the numbers have risen. There's at least 2 Euro HNM LS's, a Dynamis LS, and a handful of social shells. Also, one of the established NA guilds are recruiting Euros to form an EU arm for their LS. While we'll never be on par with the NA or Japanese players for sheer numbers it does appear with a little extra perseverence we can achieve most of the things they can.

As for subjob items, it really isn't an issue. Plenty of people, including myself, can help you with that.

Uhh, FFXI's grind is not bad anymore.

Yep, sorry I went camping this weekend, but do this, if I'm not on, I need a few hours to shower and grab some dinner and put my gear away and I'll jump online if nothing else loiter, and get pearls out if need be. Also Nerak is online now as well as Ravenr and I'm loitering on Vent, send them a tell if I'm not there.

Actually, this says one of my local EB's has some in stock. Damn... I just know I'll sucker myself into picking up GH3 while I'm there, too.

yeah the grind is much easier now. i'm seeing that. I've been back for a month and gotten WHM to 46, BLM to 23, and Rank 5 while working full time daily.
