+58 Internets | Now I think the FFXI AH is just fine, especially the anon bidding type thing, but let's not get ridiculous here. I mean the simple fact there isn't a search feature in the FFXI AH makes rules out it being the best by any means |

| No search feature, no fully linked AH, items listed for the sake of being there for price history but not being purchasable = :[, no quick way to look up item price other than digging through all the items and hoping to pick it out of the potential 100 or so that could be there unless you want to just post your item for random price and check sales status -> price history, no decent way to list auctions efficiently and last but not least no instanced bazaar to turn yourself into a vendor to reach the maximum potential customers. So what exactly would you take that over WoW/EQ2/Bazaar EQ1/Lotro etc? |

| For someone trying to get gear for a few levels higher than what they are now it would help immensely. Having to sort out what is level 12 when I'm level 10 would be nice rather than digging through 100 items to see what I can use soon so why is there no reason to search again? |

| Ya friend linked me that last site last night. And I do memorize stuff. Hence why jumping into MMO's is easy and why I'm usually making lots of in game money fast. So having the ability to flip through items quickly and such makes my life easier. Yes I will get used to the system and I already have been but I do wish it wasn't so blah and more sites were linked etc. Just what happens when you get spoiled one way and go back to an older way /shrug. |

+13 Internets | Sorry, FF11 auction house is pure money. Being able to look at gear that isn't for sale is awesome, let's me plan out future upgrades and such. And not having them linked is really cool; I remember last time I was playing when I finally made it to Bastok after starting in Windurst and all the prices were fucking ass backwards compared to what I was used it, was awesome.

| The only thing ass backwards is when I can buy something for 134 gil off of the vendor and turn them into 1k gil sales on the ah. I know it's chump change but I've been able to make over 10k gil so far from buying luan shields from vendor and just flipping them on the AH by running for 10 seconds from one place to the other. Maybe it's just Remorah or something but 99% of the sub 20 gear is just vendor gear marked up. |

So? Go buy it off a vendor or save time and buy off the AH? A lot people (like me) don't memorize what vendors sell what item scatterd across the world. Thus, if we can save some time and just buy it off the AH it's worth it. | |

| I'm not complaining. If people want to be lazy and/or dumb and not run the 10 seconds it takes to go to the vendor in Windhurst in the same zone they start in and go buy it from the AH instead. Makes my life easier for money making sakes while leveling instead of worrying about what items I'm finding sell for what I can just keep banking them. |
