Hmm, sounds like I just need to grind for a while and save some cash. I checked the weapon store but all they had were like some rods and wands, but that was only in the one section of town, i'm assuming there are more stores somewhere.

I don't know about NPC vendors, I have got all my gear off of the Auction House.

Don't forget to get a signet while you are hunting so that you collect crystals. They are a pretty good source of Gil for the starting out newbie.

yeah the crystals are about the only thing i remembered; just gonna pound on the hares/bats outside for as long as I can stand it and try a sell a few stacks of crystals

Growing plants in your house was pretty lucrative too if I remember.

Just got grouped up for my first Dynamis, starting in a few minutes. Whee~

(I only want one reasonable-to-get item out of all the Dynamis zones anyway

)

But at least it'll get me started in FFXI raiding.

What loot should I NOT be selling right now? Basically I sell anything I can in the AH and if that's full I vendor it. Been seeing red crystals and whatnot pop up sometimes, those seals I have 1000 of, never know what to keep

Got my first Dynamis death!

{Eagle Eye Shot} for 1585.

HnC: Crystals are pretty good to sell, because early on you really don't have the cash base to craft with them, although if you can stomach mining, you can make a good bit more profit out of those fire crystals. Beastmen's Seals you can't sell, but keep them, because one day you'll use them for BCNM events. From those you can get gear and spells you want, along with many you can sell for a lot of gil.

I hate Dynamis so much... done it waaaay too much any still haven't gotten my AFv2 Headpiece (once I get that I'm more or less done gearing my RDM up)

I hear RDM AF2 hat and THF AF2 gloves seem to be about the rarest drops, whether that's fact or perception. Both awesome pieces, though.

The *only* Samurai piece I care about in the slightest is the Saotome Kote, and even that only to macro in for Meditate. Kinda lame I guess, but oh well.

Also, just dropped the boss in San d'Oria, so there's 1/5 for Xarcabard, or 1/4 for Beaucedine, however you want to look at it.

I did Dynamis for about 3 years straight and the only AF2 I got was BLM gloves.. I have THREE level 75 jobs.

Found a decent group and made it to 9 tonight. Gonna start working on cooking I think, I seem to remember that doing well cash wise for me last time.

Tradeskills are all about just finding a niche. Lower level ones aren't gonna make you millions, but they can more than pay for anything you'll need while leveling be it gear, spells, etc.

Level 50 DRG. Oh yah bitches! Penta Thrust at 49 was so fucking nice. And then getting double attack and super jump at 50 was just more icing on the cake.

Time to get that stupid Lich Paper for the first level break.
