| Stop running back to old times | I just can't help but feel I'm playing a dumb'd down version of WoW. I know it's beta and all, but it's just how it feels to me. I love the idea of many of the classes though. Leveling while pvp'n is great also, as long as they put objectives in mix'd w/ that. |

| I loved DAoC, was and still is one of my favorite MMORPGs. Seems to me that WAR will have a little bit of DAoC with a bit of WoW thrown in.. which to me is fine as long as its not to dull. Thankfully(and sadly, ha) the game was pushed back and hopefully by the time of release it will be nice. I'm really looking forward to this game. Preordered CE myself. I dont think this game will be a disappointment however. |

+2 Internets | I used to love DAoC. I thought keep sieges were the most amazing thing ever. Then I played WoW arenas and I became competitive. Now, when I go into a battleground and try to take on 3 people at once just to see if I can do it, some retarded retadin runs up and consecrates, breaking my blind and sap, then begins beating on the enemy resto shaman instead of helping me kill the priest at 33% life. Or replace ret paladin with hunter. Or whatever. These people just aren't playing the same game I am. After playing competitively with skilled players, I've lost all taste for zerg PvP. CC ceases to matter. Personal accountability disappears. This has a lot to do with why 8-man gank groups became so popular in DAoC. Zerging isn't fun for good players. However, I realize that a lot of people aren't skilled, or just don't like the pressure of competitive PvP. I can understand that. While skilled guilds will definitely have a niche in WAR, I get the feeling this game is aimed at and balanced around zerg players. |

I understand and agree with why in wow after doing arena you find playing with skill less retards not fun. But at least as it stands in beta right now, its much different then that. And while the people in this beta and the way the beta is being run currently makes for a mature and coherent player base, I think the game lending itself toward teamwork in almost every aspec does alot of good for mass pvp. But like I said in a previous post if arena and mass raid PvE is your thing, you may not like this, but I dont think It will have anything to do with the skill of other players. | Well shit if its that easy hook me up! Edit: Though to add to discussion.. is there any GOOD reason why they aren't testing out some of the classes in beta yet? Hammerer/Choppa seem pretty straight forward as MDPS. Unless they think a lot of people will flock to those classes and test the other classes less. | Not to continue to disrespect the key bearers, but I'll also take a moment to say that I'm interested in a key too! I was in WoW closed beta too, =) My old guild seems interested in WAR a lot, but I'm trying to keep myself from getting too absorbed in WoW again before I give it a shot. |
