One thing I was wondering is: Is there basicly 24 total "zones" in this game? I got that number from tier 1-4 and having them in each of the 6 race areas. Or is there other "zones" that are simply for PvE, dungeons, quests etc?

I did one of the pug destruction king raids tonight, heres the way it works - to access the final king, you have to kill 4 warlords in the enemy city (none of them drop loot). To kill the warlords, you must conquer at least one set of keeps in a T4 zone, I think you may actually need to own two T4 zones (out of 3). Zones and cities are not always open, once they are taken over (or the other side repelled) they stay locked for certain amounts of time. Anyways, once your side owns a T4 zone completely the city is unlocked for a while as instanced scenarios, some instanced PQs occur, the warlords eventually show up. If your side can drop the warlords, the king is unlocked for your faction, the king exists as another instanced scenario. So you go from T4 zone (open world) to city (instanced) to capture city PQs/warlords (instanced) to attack the king (instanced). Yes, its factional, not specific to an instance, so for example if FoH exists as a uber PVP guild they can unlock the king every week for their side, and everyone can follow in their own PUGs and get phat loot. Its a 24 man encounter, and pretty easy. Its basically a reward imo for owning the enemy city, any guild group should be able to kill the king within 2-4 shots (a number of other groups said they 1 or 2 shot him) and most pugs will be able to do it after a few tries. The king dropped 10 orange items (legendary?), dunno if that was for testing or if thats the final loot table. The items were not itemized that well yet, so dunno if they will be upgraded. They also required renown rank 80 which is pretty much impossible to get atm. All the groups had renown rank 70 gear so everyone was nicely geared, but a bunch of people in the warband said they have seen just as good or better gear from quests and such, so I don't think it'll take months for the kings to be killed. The king boss wasn't that big, slighty bigger than players (looked nothing like that trailer baddie), I guess he's supposed to be a bird but looked like a spider to me. The whole city siege thing is supposed to take days anyways of fighting in T4 zones, so I think the focus is on that rather than killing the king (which is a "perk" of finally capturing the city). It is raid locked so you can't farm the king for hours or more than once a week. Last edited by spronk; 08-21-2008 at 01:54 AM..

* Snap Shot will gain a 100% snare, if you hit a player from behind with it, now that you have a way to stop runners reliably we'll probably yank the snare Bullet buff out and give it a diffrent effect * We will be updating the Blessed Bullets, and adjusting their effects so players are incentivized to attempt to use all of them * We will be updating the Holy Relics to have much improved "Fight Altering" effects. One such example is 100% Disruption of all spells cast on you for 9s * Witch Hunters will be getting a "Shatter" attack that will strip off one Blessing from their target, and deal damage simultaneously (Keep in mind some HoT's are considered Blessings as well) sweet
