Sandbag his ass then and create controversy, otherwise, contrary to what ninajrr above might think, all we are going to get is rhetoric and hype from him.

And that's the quickest way to get no interviews ever again. No interviews = fewer listeners and fewer listeners = no more UG radio. So by logic, 'sandbagging' his ass = no more UG radio!

This is not a new concept. People screen their interviews all the time. Yes, it would be nice to have someone ask the tough questions, but inevitably you will just end up with a lot of uhs and wells.

Fucking finally. I'm about ready to sail away into the horizon, with Neric and Cad blowing wind.

Of course I know that Twobit, just trying to be humorous and put in an additional zing to ninajrr who thinks it is really "communicating" when in essence it's the same old crap of prepared answers. Maybe a few timeline bones might be thrown out, but hell why aren't they disclosing that anyway on their official forum?

That's where I'm coming from too. It's just common courtesy not to try to nail this guy to the wall and crucify him. I'll ask some tough questions sure, but I'm not going to try and screw him over.

No, I have zero interest in listening to his radio interview., but I did have an interest in making a post in this thread ;p

Hey dumbass, read before you post. I am willing to wager that even you won't be listening to this radio interview. If he wants to do something meaningful, just fix the dam game. Getting tired of listening to the same old talk. But don't even think for one moment anything they do will turn this game into the next best thing to sliced bread. It simply will never happen, not now.

And Kc, that's fine. That is all that needs to be done. Stop with the dam talking and just fix stuff. Now if this interview is going to involve sex, dirt and nasty gossip then I am all for it. ANYTHING else is just a waste of time listening to.

Yeah you are right, all those walls of texts by Brad really fed you useful information. And don't confuse "communicating" with spewing rhetoric which is basically what we ever see. So since you just like POM POM posts why don't you shut the fuck up and just read on.
Quote:
Well then that interview is going to be boring as shit then. Come on Q get down and dirty with the guy, let's hear some controversial stuff. Remember the old adage "Sex sells." Nearly the entire world has given up on VG. It had it's shot. As others said, they'd be more than willing to pay to read a book about the whole story of Sigil instead. Don't throw him softballs, make the sucker squirm and spill the beans.
Quote:
Nah, not really. As I orignally said, I just don't care what he has to say anymore. You just get tired of reading the same old rhetoric and hype. Just trying to coax Q into making it a little more controversial.

Jesus Fucking Christ! A 3 page thread, you have 8 fucking posts all saying the exact same thing, and you want us to believe you have zero interest in this radio interview? What are you, some kind of cyborg gone haywire whose only mission is to belabor a fucking point?

Embracing the fact that this interview hasn't even occurred yet, you believe that since Brad spouted Walls of Text and rhetoric that David will do the same. Now learn to make your fucking point and get the fuck out. If you have something constructive to add, do so. Suggest some questions even though they have already been submitted. You can even derail the topic and make it about how interviews should be conducted. Just make a goddamn point! Otherwise, you are wasting fucking time.

Fuck!

P.S. Arguing with me for calling you out is also a waste of fucking time.

So do you get to read his answers beforehand? Are you strictly following this script or will you be following up with some of his responses, getting him to elaborate or defend?

Is it possible that you will post (or link to) a transcript of the interview in this thread?

Why isn't VG in the rear view mirror at this point?

It was stillborn into a world of many good games out now, and progressively good ones coming out very shortly.

Personally, I admit to still following the threads as a drama whore, looking for that next revelation about the debacle. Is that it, or do people actually care or think VG is going somewhere?

I think we're all rubbernecking an accident on the side of the highway. I could care less about the game, but the drama is delicious. I don't think anyone really takes this game seriously anymore. It's a wreck.

I don't know how he's going to respond to the questons, no. That part will be live in that respect, and if there is something that he doesnt really explain to where I don't understand or would like to know more I'll ask him to elaborate, sure.

I wasn't planning on typing up a transcript just because that's just more and more work for me :P We're a radio station so our best content is in audio form, we'll have it up for download shortly after it airs tomorrow.

VG's purpose at this point is to serve as entertaining banter until the next round of games hits the shelves.

Well just got off the phone with David and the interview went pretty well. As a player first and foremost I'm glad that he's very straight forward and not a BS machine like Brad tended to be(blaming performance on PC buses, launch on TBC, etc).

Here's this little announcement from us:

Hey everyone! Don't forget our interview with David will be played tomorrow! Due to popular demand we've added another air time for the interview, 8pm EST(5pm PST). So tune in at 5pm EST or 8pm EST for the interview and then check our site out later this week for the downloadable version!

Thanks!

I still don't understand Maxxius's rationale that because Brad, the douchebag of MMORPGs, had terrible communication skills, so will Dave. Alas, I do not really care enough to argue with you anymore, and won't be reading this thread, so don't bother with a witty fuck retort.

Q, just curious why you described it as only "pretty well." Were you disappointed with anything?
