I have no idea what Hella's beef is with Braene, because their bonds broke before I joined MW or before I even hit my upper levels, so I never understood why they were at each other's throats. I remember an officer telling me they had differences and that was it. I remember Akeezi burning out and I was literally like, "Great...there goes the one officer who actually logs on.". I remember her telling people that she was just burned out on tradeskills and shit, but it was obvious she couldn't handle being the only officer on and making all the decisions when she wasn't the leader. Rightfully so, too! PS, I thought Mistwalkers could've been a hardcore raiding guild, but the constant invites to FoH forum goers kept pushing us down because they'd start at level 1 and we would rarely look for people outside of the guild who was already level 70. Oh yeah, MW had another tank besides Alfonse and Luft? /wow. lol, didn't know. :b

We could definately, definately craft, staff and run a very successfull guild based out of these (or any) forums. You just need the right people, and a solid plan and it's not that big a deal. It becomes nightmarish when you have the wrong people and no plan, as we can attest to here.

I did burn out on tradeskills, that was my fault. Burning out on officer stuff was a collective effort but it was my choice to let it bother me. Burning out on EQ2 in general has a lot more to do with just not finding the game fun enough after 3 or 4 months than the guild drama did. I've posted before, I wish I liked EQ2 more. I wish there was some other reason to keep me logging in than going to an instance once a day. I wish the raids that introduce you to that part of EQ2 weren't so damn boring. The game just isn't for me in its current incarnation, having guild stuff to deal with at least kept me busy enough to not realize that for a while. | |

| Considering how much time THK personally put into trying to make MW work, it's interesting to see people actually giving him shit for what happened. Clearly there was a ton of drama going on behind the scenes that I wasn't privy to. Seraphic - 70 Arasai Inquisitor, Antonia Bayle |

+58 Internets | So who stills plays there? Think my brother and his friend are in the high teens now. Rashaz is my brothers name, I believe he's a wizard. Kunark has me excited for the game, as do all the EQ2 expansions but reading here about how boring the higher levels are has held me off from going back just yet. |

The only thing left to do is roll another alt. I've now a 70/100 wizzy, 70/88 Dirge, 52 Guard, 43 Necro... I am sick of making new chars to occupy my time. I want to progress my main character and there is fuck all I can do. The more I think of it, I would much rather an EQ1 style AA grind. This might not be the popular opinion, but it would certainly satisfy the needs of many who become bored and burn out. ...all of that said, I am anxiously awaiting Kunark. If its even remotely good as the last couple expansions it will keep me occupied for the forseeable future. Its up to SoE to recognise when everything gets stagnant again and release a few new bonus zones to keep people pleased until the expansion following.

| I think that really truly burned me out was going through SoD and Claymore. I was working on SoD, Claymore, and MoA all at the same time and (I am still on PoA Star to Unlock for Claymore) only got two finished. It is amazing how long and insane Claymore is in comparison to SoD. I give props to ANYONE who finishes Claymore as that is a true sign of hardcore. Gawd, being in SoS for over 7+ hours a day (took me about 3-4 days total to complete) is harsh. Have you tried looking for a raiding guild, Xanadu? Some guilds don't raid every day, but still raid.

As for Claymore, I honestly think the SoS portion is the worst simply for the fact you need to run back and forth so damn much across the zone. That said, I put my dirge to Autofollow my wizzy and I solo'd all of SoS. I solo'd all of PoA except for the dragon, the banner portion, and the very last step as well. Those 3 parts I did duo with a Fury. I think you just need to drag a friend or two along to get it done. Consistent pickups for that stuff died off on my server quite a while ago so you really have to work for it now. (Keep in mind, Claymore has been in game for a LONG time now and many have done it on multiple characters long ago so there simply isnt a demand for it).

+8 Internets | A note: yesterday running mines of meldrath with our alts we got 2 exquisite chests and 4 ornate chests. Before we had at best 1 ornate per run in there, I don't remember for certain but I think we got 1 master once only and damn I did that place to nauseam. If it was an accident I don't know, I fucking hope this is the way loot drops in RoK because the most shitty part among all the other not so good things in the game is clearing trash for hours and getting a wood chest for it. |
