+1 Internets | Well, I've got a Dirge, Berserker & Warden made that I want to check out. I still have to make my Fury & Brigand but just have to get a name that will get approved for those. I did make a Necro as well, but I'm not sure if that one will last. Can someone with more experience with the classes do a short compare & contrast of the 2 Enchanter classes? |

| Just paid for the first month and downloading all of the expansions via Direct2Drive (I know I'm going to regret that. :|). If anyone's on Antonius Bayle and wants to give me a few pointers, feel free. =P Name's Kuriin and alignment is good. edit: Oh yeah, I'm level 9 right now. ![]()

The other differences is, Coercers get DPS Buffs, while Illusionist gets Haste Buffs. DPS just increases auto-attack damage, while Haste lowers auto-attack delay. The other thing is Illusionists get a proc that goes off spells and does damage and de-taunts, whereas the Coercer gets a Reactive spell damage shield with a constant de-aggro. Other than that, they are very much similiar.

+7 Internets | While I don't know much about at higher levels, I did play a Coercer up to about 30 back when EQ2 was relatively new. One thing that pissed me off so bad about that great class was every single fucking encounter somebody was breaking mez. If you have no patience don't pick this class lol. |

| I caved in. I went out and bought EOF and installed it. However, when I go to patch it the patcher has an ETA of 12 hours until the download is finished. I have all the optional stuff set to download while I'm playing. Am I missing something or is this patcher ran by hamster wheels? |

+1 Internets | Thanks for the info on the Coercer & Illusionist. I think I'll hold off on trying one of the Enchanters for a bit later, but I'll keep that info in mind for when I do start one up. Right now I'm trying out the Defiler, Mystic, Warden & Fury to see what type of healer I'll like best. All of my characters are on AB, hopefully I can decide on one soon so I can catch up to the other people who have rolled newbies. |

+58 Internets | I wish I was confident I could find groups. I'd go with a priest or ranger/assassin for sure. My ranger on our last server did okay on it's own as long as I upgraded my abilities constantly to solo. Thing is I really enjoyed my illusionist on perma, I was great at soloing I just got incredibly bored of it. Hoping AB population was actually worth the server move you guys did. Oh and I loved mezzing because it made me feel useful, though that shit was broken so many times it's not even funny. Guess you need a guild group to expect that not to happen in the late 20s. I also like being evil due to FG being really close, that's a pretty fine place to burn through some levels. I don't like the good alternative (if that's what it was) with the twirling staircases and what have you. Though good has those caves that are the best exp until the late teens for sure Melv, Rahx and Judeau will be the names I'm using until I decide.. if any other low levels see me around. | Hey Aria, I managed to get to level 12. Quests are really bad and grinding seems to get your exp much faster. But, soloing as a priest is REALLY boring. I'd much rather heal, but I sadly know that I won't be able to get groups until around 18-20. :| edit: Quote:

| Yeah, I've already got one point, I think, in the AAs. I think. But, I've been doing quests nonstop. Just got back from seeing Hairspray. :x
