| I am not personally interested in this game but I hope it does really, really well as perpetual is also working on STO and if Rome tanks then that is DoA.

| Been following this game for a while, i think the minion system is going to add a whole new level of playability to MMO's, however for someone like my wife, she'd be turned off by the idea of controlling multiple characters. I read somewhere that they're planning to have the endgame fights be sort of like the 10th ring war from EQ, where it requires everyone to have their heads on straight and accomplish objectives, not so much as Kill big bad mob 01. |

| I signed up for the beta -- agree with Vorph that it is thinly disguised fantasy but whatever -- squad combat could be interesting and deserves at least a check out before I write it off.

| Well, you could call anything fantasy that doesn't involve a setting within the last couple of centuries or the future. Everything can be broken down into fantasy, steampunk, modern or sci-fi.

| Well Star Wars is basically a fantasy set in a world with sci-fi elements.

| Im taking high fantasy...You know, elves wizzards, Tolkienesque and whatnot? And yeah I agree that everthing and all games are some sort of fantay world. But there is a lot of old Greek and Roman mythology which would be sweet to explore in a mmo world. Hello Clashof theTitans...Goodbye Elron and Orc... |

| You actually got a good point there. They should have put it in a mythical ancient greek setting.
