| The Cms need to make more careful decisions as to what posts they respond to. Example : If I was a CM I would only respond to the absolutely best written posts with a logical question or three, and feedback as to what is going on within the context of the post. (i.e Why are Warlocks better DPS than Mages with a couple hundred lines of information/parses and logical validation as to why this is/or isn't so.) Talk to Devs. Devs give Answer. Give Response. Case Closed. Instead they don't pick their battles and post on pretty terrible/useless threads. |

| I doubt he got fired, he has said worse without reprecusions before. My guess is he quit for a better job, it was his last day, and he let the fucktards have it in one last hurrah. And I don't really see Tseric as condecending... not really straight shooting, but he just refuses to show any respect to people who don't deserve it. That is fine in my book, despite what some people think, CS people don't have to lick your taint as you throw massive amounts of shit at them. Last edited by Fizil : 05-19-2007 at 02:30 PM. |

| I've been an outspoken critic of Blizzard's CS for quite a while. I started a thread in the Suggestions Forum about it that clearly defined the issues with their CS policy and CM performance in general, but it was virtually completely ignored. One of my biggest criticisms has always been the overall lack of communication. Even if there's no info to give, no answer to a problem yet, just fucking post and say "yes, we're aware of this issue but we haven't been able to iron out a suitable fix yet. We'll update you as we get more info." That would make a lot of people feel better. At least we'd know we were heard, right? Recently I read a few blue posts that explained that part of the reason that they never seem to respond to any fucking threads (except to say "you're a fucking troll" or something inane like "pie is good") is that for legal reasons if they post in a thread they're acknowledging that they read it. If that thread contains an idea for the game then technically you'd have a basis for suing and saying they stole your idea if it was ever implemented. This is why we're supposed to post in the Suggestions forum, since there's some shit written somewhere that absolves you of any claim to shit you post there. The problem is, some people don't know this. If I were them, I would have put a goddamn sticky up in every single forum explaining this so that people wouldn't think they were being ignored. Hell, you could at least post in the "why do the Devs never post here?" threads and say "for legal reasons we are very limited as to what threads we can respond to, but we have a lot more leeway with things posted in the Suggestions forum, so we urge players to post their ideas there." Instead they just let every class board turn into a festering pile of resentment and bitterness, and no one posts in the fucking Suggestions forums because your valid idea will get lost in a sea of fucking retarded ideas like "ZOMG Pirate Ships!!!1!" or "Add escalators to UC!". People post in their class forums because its the best place to review and discuss issues that directly affect that class and its community. Why the fuck wouldn't they just change the terms of use so that anything you post on the boards anywhere is fair game for implementation? That would totally remove the legal roadblocks to communication. Then again, that would be logical.

Not that I really care, but they'd probably be a lot better off if they just reported what the Dev's said instead of giving their (usually retarded) opinion on game play. | |

| They were making websites about that guy it was getting that bad. Not that I agree with the morons that went to the trouble, but when that happens, it's time for new blood. Blizzard should rotate the time spent on those forums. It can make anyone insane. The players either wind up hating them or sucking up to them like little class pets, especially on the Customer Service Forum, which has gotten sickening. |

+31 Internets | Kat promised PvP seige weapons, battlegrounds, hero classes, and a slew of other things iirc, all before or right around release. She also said that even though MC/Onyxia were the only raid zones, a whole bunch more (like 6? or something?) would pop up right after release. Not sure she was fired, tho.

| Half the bitching on there wouldn't even exist if Blizzard had the slightest idea how to run a game. That damn LFG tool is just one example...it's been in for like 6 months now, and their solution is to bring back the channel they got rid of. (that people begged them to leave in as soon as they heard it was being removed back in November) The problem's with Blizzard, not the people complaining.

| If their CMs had a clue about the internet, customer service, and/or the game they are supposedly managing, there wouldn't be a problem. But they consistently fail these criteria. They fumble, reveal their stupidity, and rightfully lose respect from a community that despite its retardation is surprisingly aware at times. Last edited by mek : 05-19-2007 at 03:37 PM. |
