Community - Community Manager - Developer. In order to relay the communities suggestions/advice most went through CM's to get their voice escalated. When someone such as Tseric does nothing but degrade the community and prevent anything from moving back and forth - you get resentment.

Even though the Blizzard WoW forums are extremely childish, this CM just made it worse.

How Blizzard allows the forums to continue as bad as they are i don't understand, they seriously need to ban forum trolls, for how long was it that every time a blue posted it would be followed by 2 pages of "FIRST!!!1!!" " 2nd!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and so on...

the forums suck and it's their fault really, all people do is cry about class X and whine, it eventually drove all the normal people away and only the retards are left.

I always thought Tseric fit in perfectly with the WoW forums. He was a condescending ass, and the board is full of fucking retards. If nothing else, they deserved each other, and I feel sorry for the next poor hapless son of a bitch who takes that job.

There were two revolts on the Rogue forums. The first was in October 2005, when our LOVELY and completely useful CM Tyren was supposedly compiling issues for our "Rogue Review". So she had a 55 rogue in October and a few months later claimed she was 60, and had experienced all of MC, along with blackwing lair, and didn't see any problems with our raid role. She said we were fine in PVP, and that she was halfway through honored with Defilers and Warson factions. Someone from her guild on Icecrown decided to leak her identity. Her fucking Alliance Rogue had 0 HK's, and well, see for yourself. Thottbot World of Warcraft:

Fangtooth promised he would roll a Paladin. He later said his Paladin was in his 20's or so. Months later people were asking what happend to his Paladin, he claimed he was waiting for the new PvP server that was going to be opened.

Months later he finally admitted he never made a Paladin.

I've always thought Tseric was retarded and he certainly deserved to be fired, but it's understandable how he could have that sort of breakdown and I have sympathy for anyone in an incredibly thankless job like that. A community manager is just a grunt with no power and no influence whatsoever, yet he's the one that has to eat all the massive shit on the forums day-in and day-out. Yes, Tseric was terrible, but he's insignificant. The real problem is with Blizzard's horrendous communication policy and forum management. They could hire the greatest community manager in the entire world, but it'll all be for naught if they don't take a harsh banstick to the forum lemmings. Cleanup the shit and increase direct player-dev communication, and it'll be like a brave new world.

P.S. I am, however, a fan of Tseric's smackdown of Tessera on the Mage forums back in the day.
