WoW is boring, eve is interesting but i find it hard to justify playing more then a couple hours a day.

no mmo out right now has any real charm anymore.

To be honest, why would you want to play something more than a couple of hours a day? (with the rare exception of some large raid or PvP encounter)

If you've got the cash, sub for both, and just train up skills offline in Eve.

If you spend a couple months doing that, then when you "do" have time to play the game, you'll find your character is much better off.

EVE is hard to have fun playing past maybe 4 or 6 hours a day, depending on what sort of people you hook up with and what you do. If you really want an MMO that will suck up loads of your time you should probably look for something else.

This is the same for me. Completely bored with WoW, bored with VG, EQ2, and have tried numerous other games. They just can't hold my attention, I feed on good competitive play, and DOTA is all that fulfills my needs atm.

(if anyone wants to play with/against me, message Ninjarr on Us.West, usually have 4-5 friends to play with)

I think I'm done with the genre.

I play for a while, start off really enthusiastic, realize it's the same shit over and over again, start losing motivation to log in, uninstall shortly after.

Maybe I was dumber when I was younger.

Pirates of the Burning Sea might draw me back, because, well, pirates; but none of the current games, nor any of the ones I know about in development but that one, interest me at all anymore.

Im also redownloading Ragnarok Online and gonna find the best private server for that. But I really wanna try some UO private servers since theres still a bunch up with strong communities. Both Helbreath and RO can be downloaded easily but I seem to be having problems finding the latest UO installer (if anyone can point me in the right direction it'll be greatly appreciated.) I know im not the only one turning to private servers for older games because a few of my friends are doing it, anyone else thinking of going this route until they find a big name MMO to settle with?
Quit WoW, Tried VG, Tried LOTRO beta and I can now say wow where is something worth playing?

My friends and I are in the same boat. Nothing out that interests us. Sick and tired of the complete lack of innovation in the genre.

I'm starting to think some future indie game is the only thing that will save us.

Was one of my favourites, lasted me for a good few months messing around on and off with it.

Those of you that are looking for something new to play and feel like spending abit of money should try out Dreamlords

Played it for about a month, but didn't have the time to play that together with LOTRO and WoW(at the time), so I canceled after a month.
