| if this wasnt made by funcom id be super excited. since conan failed in execution to a great degree im not going to get my hopes up. That being said the concept is HOT, the concept art is HOT, the "bringing it to pc and 360" reeks of epic fail.

| I trust Ragnar and loved the other RPGs he was in charge of. Skill based Cthulu-esque MMO world? I'm buying it. AoC was pretty good despite the massive flaws, so let's hope they learn with this one. |

| They sure know how to make a trailer. That was great. I am excited for the game, AoC flopped solely because of the lack of polish and time spent on the game. You can see this clearly in how well the first 20 levels are done. If the same amount of time was spent on the remaining game this would be a different conversation. The concept alone is worth the $50 to try it out. I am tired of levels and look forward to more skill based games. |

I supposed that means TSW has a one in four chance of not being terrible, at least. ![]()

| I haven't seen a new MMO that interested me in ages, but The Secret World actually looks pretty cool. The setting/art seems awesome and what has been revealed about the game mechanics is intriguing. I can't really muster up the will to participate in any ARG, but I'll keep my eye on this. Edit: Eurogamer preview - Didn't see it linked in the thread already, though I don't know if it contains any new info. Last edited by Rewen; 04-07-2009 at 04:44 PM.. |

| considering how long it took to release AoC and how unfinished it was, I doubt we see this game released before that maya calendar date, 3 years of hypebuilding to go, maybe they release it for the next gen xbox ? |

I can understand the time required for a company releasing the very first game. But you got to think ahead 3+ years for an established company if I was a director I would be going wtf. Erm anyways game sounds interesting !
