But I do know that even though we are almost guild rank 60 there has been some attrition due to VG/LotRo and we are in the rebuilding stage, but fuck we are 59!!!. Hell I'm just trying to remember how to play. *insert to many fucking spells/abilities rant* but if you guys want to still roll over here I have zero problems mentoring down.

according to the transfer page the two characters I moved are on AB with my "main" (level 30 something) I'm glad i could use the free transfer thing now cause I don't really intend on playing until update goes live

If you are an old EQ1 Player it is worth the price of EoF just to see how they recreated the old zones in EQ2. Plus, make a Fae (I know sounds very queer but is actually pretty cool), get it up to level 10 or so and choose the "glide" trait.

Even if you don't play for good that in itself is fun as hell.

Echoes of Faydwer is required to make Arasai, it is not required to start other races in Neriak.

Yeah you should really trust the Taiwan team for doing work for EQ2.... If you can read any chinese you know they are slamming on countries and people in hidden messages with their character names. I emailed Scott about this, he didn't think it was important enough of an issue since he probably didn't feel like having anyone translate the character names. The one that sticks out to me was one of "Mei gua ren" and next to him was "bu hao"

doesn't take an expert in chinese to figure that one out lol. I haven't played in a long time, I bet those 2 characters are still standing right next to each other on the adventure pack the Taiwanese did.

How many hunting areas and of what levels does this update include ? Or is Neriak just tagged on to existing content near Freeport ?

Care to tell those of us who don't have the slightest clue about Chinese what the hell you are talking about, or would that deflate the scandalous mystique of your post?

Anyway, what classes can this new race be? Thinking of giving the game a real shot in a couple weeks, planning to roll a healer probably, not sure what would be available and viable for the new race's class choices.

Oh it's not really that scandalous, just means Americans are bad.

Mei guo ren = American person
bu hao = bad

they changed it to mei gua ren to at least try to have an out, but the pronounciation is virtually identical. There are a lot of messages and characters like this in the whole expansion pack. I sent scott a bunch of them but he never got back to me and nothing ever happened so I never bothered to keep up with it. But I just got bored of the game back then, from what I hear the game is one of the best out there now, so that is good to know.

I have lived in China for a few years now so pretty good with Chinese, but I was able to spot this last year when my Chinese sucked. I could probably pick up a lot more now that I speak the language as well as I do.

The think about us Americans is.. we generally don't give a shit about things like that and as a matter of fact find them pretty humorous. The fact they did that I would take as a joke myself. Plus how many people in the US can actually speak English much less a foreign language?
