+107 Internets | EQ2 is my favorite game that I never play. It's the only MMO I keep resubscribing, but without anyone to play with regularly, I lose interest. I wish my rl friends were into MMO's. This update sounds cool. What is a high pop server I should transfer my toon to(granted, he's only like 27)? I'm on perma at the moment. |

| Plugged In Like Neo | I am still considering transferring to Antonia Bayle and joining a casual RP type guild. Anyone have any suggestions? Like Braen said, it's difficult and tiring to play in a message board type guild because no one ever stays around. I just want to join an established guild with lots of knowledgeable players and hopefully experience more of the game. Either that or I'm waiting until these Arasai come out and just rolling up a new character on a populated server. =) |

| I'd resubscribe but the entirety of the Enchanter class / Illusionist subclass is pretty damn marginalized by the game and that doesnt seem to be changing. Sure I could play something else, but if I'm going to play an "EverQuest" game then I want to be an Enchanter. I keep hoping that Gallenite will address the Enchanted Pink Elephant in the middle of his game, but until then as intriguing as it looks I'll have to pass. |

| I think I'll resub for this to move characters does my account need to be active? I have a lvl 30sh dirge on AB and I think I'll move my 30ish troubadour and SK there as well. I bought the Faydwer expansion and played it for like a week even though I do like the game, I just didn't really like kelethin very much |

+20 Internets | Damn! I'm enjoying LOTRO with my casual playtime, but since I already own the basic EQ2 set but barely ever played after launch, it is getting awful tempting to see what's going on in Norrath2 after my 30 free days are up. It just seems like there is a ton of neat stuff going on in EQ2; I'm still bored of WoW; and, well, I always wanted to give EQ2 more of a chance because I was sure the game could not still be as lame as it was at start.... Hmmmm! |

+5 Internets | Say I wanted to try out EQ2 for the first time. Is it like the original EQ where only kite classes can solo? I was a rogue in EQ and nothing was more frustrating than sitting in PoT with my lfg window open for 4 hours straight. I want to give it a try but I won't be able to talk my normal group into switching to yet another MMO, but I also don't want to pick the wrong class and sit around lfg for 90% of my play time.

| Table break inc, save the bitching. From my quick one hour run around... 1.SOE should let the SOGA team handle ALL the art direction from now on, period. 2. Arasai males got the lovin on textures, females got the shaft (no pun intended) especially on the wings. ESPECIALLY ! 3. Housing - only 2 available atm to view, if I had to guess I would say SOE designers did the layout and SOGA textured it. Beautiful textures, god awful layout but I imagine they will appeal to someone. 4. NERIAK IS BACK ! -- Queen in pick two, and the bad ass arasai with the bone wings is a player.

| High Quality with a couple bells off like shadow spec, high tech water and the draw distance down a little.

As a fighter: shadowknight uncontested, below the sk also bruiser is good As a healer: fury/inquisitor are the best (fury as caster, inq as battle cleric), shamans are the worse soloers As a scout: brigand/swashbuckler, brig has an edge in soloing thanks to more stuns, swash does more ae damage, scouts in general do not rock at soloing As a mage: conjurer/necro, wizard, illusionist/coercer, can't give you the precise order, enchanters are the slowest ("bring a book" fights) but can pull out some sick tricks, conj/necro are the easiest with necro being more versatile and conj more AE oriented, wizards are root/nuke types, boring but effective. This is in short. Most classes if not all, really become a LOT more powerful in the mid 50s (which you can reach pretty quickly) because of new spells, e.g.: conjurers get an AE dd+unbreakable snare, SKs get an AE lifetap, etc. If you like to always find a group, pick a healer, can't go wrong, although furies and wardens are really popular (especially furies), but my fury friend gets groups in 5 mins flat anyway. At high levels shamans and templars have higher desiderability due mainly to players preconception, all healers can pull their weight easily in groups if given a chance, rest is a matter of skills and gear. Scouts are a lot, but groups always need them for dps. Honestly scouts are the most button spamming with the need for positional attacks and are among the worse soloers vs heroics. Conj/necros are a lot as well, but they rock both soloing and grouping and are imo the least gear dependant, still need good spell quality tho. Tanks are quite desiderable too, but are really gear dependant, if you like working on your gear all the time (and your spells/arts), shadowknights are sick soloing and damn fine group tanks, the higher you go in levels the more devastating you become. They can switch to offtank and even DPS role in raid. Raid tanks are usually guardians, sometimes zerkers or paladins, SKs can raid tank too (if given the chance, which won't happen often), but they really perform better in other roles for raids. Brawlers got the short end of the stick with EoF, they lost the little ability they had to tank when you approach the high end raids and gained nothing in return, they can put out decent dps and are still ok tanking heroic content. Hope this helps.

4xAA and 8xAF for a loss of about 15-20 fps, aka you need quite a video card to play at acceptable framerate.
