| But watch out for Greater Faydark after lvl 10. You're sent to a camp in the very SE corner and where is the first place they send you to Save the Princess? The very NW corner of the zone. Not only that, but you get to go back multiple times in the various stages of the questing. It gets better once you finish that camp and are sent into the Crushbone area. |

| I would compare my 40 Illusionist to my Necro back in EQ1. They just have so many tricks up their sleeves that it makes playing them a hell of a lot of fun, and you an fill a few roles. They won't kill stuff as quick, but they can do it pretty safely. They really did an excellent job with the class, I think. I wish I could comment on them at 70 or whatever, but from what I've read they are just as fun. |

+1 Internets | EQII Allakhazam IRC Developer Chat Since the DEV tracker on the EQ2 site is currently broken I thought I would post this here in case anyone didn't know about it. EverQuest II Allakhazam is proud to announce our first IRC Developer Chat. Join us on Tuesday, June 12th @ 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time for an exciting chat about Neriak, the Arasai and the future of EverQuest II. Several members of Sony Online Entertainment’s EverQuest II team will be in attendance; this includes Scott “Gallenite” Hartsman, Craig “Grimwell” Dalrymple, Akil "Lyndro" Hooper, Liz "Feconix" Sigmund, Tony "Vhalen" Garcia, Emily "Domino" Taylor and Chris "Aeralik" Kozak. To join IRC, you need to have an IRC client set up to join our network. There are many free IRC programs available on the web. We recommend Trillian and mIRC. For detailed instructions on how to join us in IRC please visit the following link. Allakhazam's Magical Realm: Everquest II During the next week we will be taking questions via email and in this thread. Allakhazam's Magical Realm: Everquest II Please make sure to include your character name and server somewhere in the question. We will also be accepting questions in IRC one hour before the chat begins. Please be in IRC @ 4:00 PM PST and make sure to keep your questions tailored to the live game (very few Rise of Kunark questions will be accepted at this time). We hope to see you there!!! | If they're anything like old EQ dev chats, they'll answer like 5 questions similiar to 'Whats your favorite class to play?". Remember sitting in those IRC rooms and coming away utterly dissapointed. |

+3 Internets | LOL oh god. Quick, send me decent questions..because the ones I asked were not supposed to represent my guild. I asked a question regarding guild status and whether the rewards will be increased/diversified since the status requirements have been removed from housing in Kelethin and Neriak. I can't remember what else I asked right now... |

| Since my experience is somewhat limited and I've never played EQ2 more than about 3 months at a time, how are expansions handled in terms of gear? Does the gear essentially "reset" every expansion like it did with Burning Crusade in WoW and likely will for their next expansion, or does it take a while for expansion gear to "surpass" the previous expansions' gear? I ask because that's the thing I'm pretty sure is going to drive me away from WoW. |
