Yup no SK or necro and you're cool. We're actually suprisingly low on classes like assassins, swashies and the scout types.

I might try a bruiser, wizard, or some type of scout class in the new Neriak area then.

They don't become buffbots, they become DPS. Of course, they are pretty much in a current state of near-godlike for soloing(CC+DPS, what more could you ask for?). A really high/near overpowered state for raiding(really high DPS, great buffs). For regular grouping they are about average.

Illusionists are pretty much really really good, and have been since the first revamp.

I hate playing on roleplay servers, but I hate even more playing on low population servers. I started up DAoC again after playing WoW for so long and it's pretty much deserted. 5k population TOTAL worldwide now. Awful.

It seems I'm about to start playing again! Seitoko, the 25 Illusionist on Antonia Bayle. I'll start hopping on to see if/when people are around. If it goes anything like it did last time(Nagafen launch), I could be 50+ very fast, although I do have larger job responsibilities these days and can't play with the ridiculous kind of hours I used to.

See you there~

PS interested in Mistwalkers, <3

I have a 31 warden, 29 monk, and 24 defiler so I'm up for trying a caster or scout class. If Swashbucklers and Illusionist are rare does either class have a problem soloing? Either one better for grouping(not really raiding)? Wizards are for some reason interesting but there seems to be alot of them.

I can say that Illusionist definitely has no problem soloing. The kills were typically slower than my melee friends, but quite safe.

I wish I had known about our SK glutt... I would've rolled a brigand; Then again there is just something about a Fairy SK that kicks ass, lol.

Yeah, I rolled my SK to be a tank for an rl group of friends, but they aren't even really playing.

Now I wish I had rolled Assassin or Brigand, although I do love playing my SK.

I actually rolled a Brig alt, but not sure if I'll level him or not. :/

I might delete my 19 templar (I deleted a much higher one to make this one on Venekor server) and make an alt... but that's just cause I have the most awesome name idea for an arasi.

PS: Having to delete chars to make new chars really sucks.

OK, rolled up an Arasi Brigand - going woodworker (they make totems right?)... I can delete and reroll as a Fury if we need healers more...

So Ennui Q'Qalot will be lookin for an invite as an alt later on tonight. I'm gonna see if I can get him to 20+ in one night with collections and exploration.

I rolled an Illusionist and a Brigand last night on AB. I was thinking I can make the Brigand a Swashy later on. The Illusionist seemed more powerful then I thought it would be but I'm only about lvl 10.

Exploring is much more enjoyable in EQ then WoW, but my goodness are the quests laid out in a stupid fashion. Then again I was warned about these old zones.

*on edit* I'm in Antonica.

The old zone quest layout isn't near the quality of the newer ones.
