Another good combo is a berserker/fury. I only tried it with a friend up to level 25 or so, but I've heard that it continues from there to be one hell of a duo. =)

Get to leave work here in less than an hour. Can't wait to get home, patch up, and dare to brave the overpopulation in Darklight Woods =)

Had my first encounter with an Oar Grappler today, they root you underwater....i almost drowned. It was crazy but really fun, and an interesting mob.

Another vote here for Bersker/Fury. As Cuppy said, they really work well together as you get higher level and fill out the AA tree's.

Anyone know why I wouldn't be able to click on Arasi as a character to create and can't see the new starting area on the map when I do make a character? I have the EoF+all set installed and I registered the account key.

You need to make sure you Download the additional Live Content under preferences from the launcher to Download Darklight woods and Neriak

As you why you can;t be the evil fay.. The only reason would be you don't have EoF

Thanks. I should have known it was something like that. I recall you had to do something like that with the EQ1 patcher sometimes now that I think about it.

Uh. Another question, if I started an Arasai and he played a fae, how hard would it be to group up? Is it closer to EQ1? or would it be a simple journey?

You guys can group up at any time.

Reaching each other would be difficult however until level 15-20. They should remove the "Shrubbery" component of being able to teleport, then it would be cake. You could both meet up in Antonica/Commonlands around level 10.

edit: I know the whole component is supposed to promote travel, but maybe remove Commonland, Gfay, Antonica.
