| Registered User | Thexian Incantations: Circa Neriak's Fall Section 1, paragraph 4 - The time has come for us to unseal the barrier! My research shows that there is a book hidden deep in what we now call Fallen Gate that details the spell required to unseal the barrier. - Tundis N'oxyle, Thexian archaeologist. Section 2, paragraph 6 - Our research will be in vain, should we not find the component for the spell N'oxyle has been searching for. I have been poring over some older references, and it seems that the essences of dragoons has been used somehow to seal the barrier. Perhaps the same could be used to unlock it. - Jhos T'sein, Thexian scholar. Section 3, paragraph 5 - The fools. They don't know what they have. I shall raise her to her former glory, and together, my undead queen and I shall descend upon the false queen of Neriak and rule forever! I'll hide the bangle in a chest in the Bull Pit! No one will ever look there! - anonymous Teir'Dal

On another note, I might join you all for a bit on AB or wherever you end up to try out a Neriak born Dark Elf. Getting a little tired of the PvP scene.Although, I leave on a good note: 2161-96 Not too shabby for an underpowered Troubadour ![]()

| I didnt read this whole thread its hella long, and the wife and I are playing LOTRO at the moment and its fun, but dammit my first love is and always will be EQ1 or EQ2, I just love that world. If you buy the echoes of Faydwer box set from like amazon or EB games, does it include all expansions? the sony site says yes, but i cant confirm that on the actual retail sites. I know the digital download does not.All i have is the original account from 2004 |

After playing vangaurd (disliking it), lotro (cool graphics and story, but meh) I'm itching to get back into EQ2. Just 2 more weeks of school and I should be online a bit more, if your even on the same server heh.

If you haven't been around in a while, the progression is really nice. When you hit 50 you can do the old content Nagafen/Vox/Darathar with ease and move into DoF's storyline through 60+. Then at 60 you can do the basic KoS content leading you easily to 70 (Especially with Fallen Dynasty). Once you hit noob geared 70 the game becomes awfully fun as you progress through zones like Vyemm's Labs, Lyceum, Temple of Scale (Harla Dar), Gorenaire, Talendor, Deathtoll and HoS. Once geared from those zones you can move into Freethinkers (Really easy 1 hour zone w/ good guild), Mistmoores Inner Sanctum, Emerald Halls, etc.... finally when you're completely EoF class-geared, you can take on the Avatars of the Gods. You can even make this easier by taking down Contested Mayong, and the Pumpkin Headed Horseman who's loot >>>> EoF Fabled. Noah made some good points earlier, but he suffered from the problem a lot of high-end folks did. He was already geared when all the changes went in. So he never really had to work his way through that content to gear up under the new rulesets. But if you're starting from scratch with raid content in T5-T7, things are still challenging and fun. Edit: The folks over at tentonhammer put up a Neriak spoiler with some nice screenshots. Apparantly Lord Nagafen is being used as a "placeholder" mob until they put the real one in =p So if you want to fight Nagafen, nows your chance on the Test server! =p EverQuest 2 at TenTonHammer.com :: Your EverQuest 2 Community! EQ2 is my favorite MMO by far I just can't keep people interested enough to stay. This time I will try my best to stick, if I ahve to leave Mistwalkers and join another guild as a member where I can just fade into the back and contribute. Last edited by Braen : 05-07-2007 at 06:10 PM.

| Can't wait to get back in to this. I will be resurrecting the Mistwalkers when I return. People who want to prepare for Neriak can join, although i am going to be bit more discriminatory now than i was before. Also, we can gear up for the eventual release of ::coughs:: Kunark. Hopefully we/I can stick with it this time! haha ![]() Tunnel they are building to Neriak Last edited by Braen : 05-08-2007 at 12:31 PM. |

| I'd like to try this game again one bored after noon with my new computer and see what the graphical difference is. Maybe I'll download the trial, if there is one, when it's released.

| That's from the PnP RPG. No, it's not Canon according to certain douches on the Lore boards. But it certainly seems to be used often by the folks that do the actual Lore, which makes it canon in my book until they begin to deviate from it. ![]() |
