| [WoW] So, when are hunters gonna be fixed? I surely enjoy playing a class where I have to time all my abilities to do 75% of a mages DPS while providing 0 utility and chugging mana pots. It boggles my mind that mana regeneration is still a fucking issues after a year of complaints -- giving us int/pitiful amounts of mana/5 on gear isn't a solution, its a bandage to a completely fucked class. The least that Blizzard could do is reverse the bullshit damage nerf they pushed in a response to undergeared fresh 70s complaining how their gear didn't instantly scale. Edit: Just a few of the more incredibly obvious issues: 1. Pets are totally useless on any encounter with ANY sort of AOE. 2. Total lack of synergy with other classes (can't have battle shout helping hunters, now can we?!). 3. Horrible benefit from haste rating. 4. Incredibly shitty itemization in every slot. The only real gear I have to look forward to is T5 and T6, everything in Kara is pretty much straight shit. 5. Totally unjustified PvP nerfs that make a shitty class even WORSE. | Hunters are stagnating again - it sucks. The early TBC Arcane/Multi nerf was completely uncalled for - not that reversing it would be a big enough change. Rogues, Shadow Priests, Mages, Warlocks are all scaling incredibly well with gear. And to top that off Rogues are getting a nice glancing blows DPS boost in 2.1. While Hunters... yeah, we're stagnating. And the pissant changes coming aren't going to do shit about it. It's basically becoming early Naxx all over again. |

+9 Internets | @#5 And yet 50% of the people you see in a typical BG on stormstrike are hunters - AV being particularly notable. There must be a reason that so many people chose that god forsaken class to PvP with and continue to. I do notice that itemization tends to be shitty though as most of our hunters take very little loot beyond weapons/tier sets.

Because PVP is an entirely different ball game. Hunters are still good in PVP. But there's horrible stagnation in Hunter raid DPS right now. | |

| I really enjoyed playing my hunter through Molten Core to the first few bosses in Naxx and i felt the class had really matured a few months before BC launched. I could keep up with other DPS classes and i really enjoyed the fact my PvE spec was just as good for PvP which is unlike the Holy Priest i play now as my main. The problems have already been outlined in this thread and as a healer i'm even more wary of this now that i tend to avoid bringing a hunter into my groups unless we're short a mage for CC and have a hunter available that can chain trap. |
