Duping would certainly explain some of the in game mails I get. The gold sellers now send you money for free with their adverts. It really is at the point where if you don't like someone, you could send them a ton of money and if they bite, they'll likely get banned. Imagine if things were ever like that in EQ1, heh.

And naw, haven't spoken with Nino at all. I know like 8 people there, don't try to incriminate the Pope.

Kendrick said he developed the stat system for VG on our board - and the stat system is far and away one of the best mechanics of the whole game. I LOVE the way stats work in VG. So he gets a gold star despite quitting the game early.

Is Vanguard plagued by duping?

I was going to get a buddy key and try it out, but everything I hear on how the game is handled, doesn't really put it under the "let's give it a try" category.

Maybe if SoE intervenes the game will get more in shape.
Hell, they could also polish it nicely for 1 year and sell it as EQ3, won't take long to rename all the stuff

Yes. A simple search turns up tons of potential hacks.. of course you have to pay for access to the forums on those MMO hacksites. From what I have heard they are fairly reliable (well, as reliable as a 'hack site' can be).

Farcically, their fix is to make the chunk reboot when it crashes. The gold sellers don't even have to wait for the zone to come back up before they can make another withdrawal from the New Targonor cash machine.

This could topple NGE as the biggest farce in MMORPG history.
