| The only thing that even remotley hooked me in SWG was the space combat, and even that wasn't done very well. I do remember though, right before I left I bought a house and put five (5) years worth of rent on it. Yes that is 5 RL years, which is probably part of the issue they are dealing with since even then there were giant ghost towns that probably had 50 years rent paid on them. |

| I would only subscribe again they combined swg with secondlife. They could just make secondlife another planet you can fly to. The controls and interface are pretty much identical, so are the player models, and they both run equally as shitty on even the highest end computer. Who wouldn't want to shoot furries with a wookie bowcaster? |

| while not SWG, I was just talking to a friend about in game housing and stuff and it got around to DAOC which i have not played in like 4 years, but a couple of my houses are still there as i put enough plat on the merchants to take care of rent for years. Seems a bug happened awhile back that messed that up and i did lose 2 houses. |

Add a materials budget for creating things and a screening process for launching items and stuff world-wide and that would be cool. | |

+1 Internets | I wasn't aware they had a dev team still working on this. Also, I can't imagine the number of credits needed to keep a shop or guild hall running for since when most people quit... which was late 2004. |

| Flog them for really making the game crappy but you cannot really fault them for deleting unused buildings. I had enough maintenance on my character when I gave up in disgust to keep all my buildings in play for about 5 years real time. I am sure the world and servers were just grinding with ghost towns and unused vendor areas. Better to just wipe the slate clean so if those still playing games see a town somewhere they know its active |
