+2 Internets | Not really. :V We have people from YouWhat, Xelas, the entity formerly known as Lotka Volterra, and a bunch of other non-goon corps who hang out in the channel, plus a bunch of people who aren't really involved in 0.0 bullshit like Faille. Just because I'm a loudmouth doesn't mean that we own the channel. :P

In other news, my Amarr alt can fly dictors now. Tell me, how painful was the transition for you from heretics to sabres? Was there alcohol involved? I'm trying to think of a way to train 'matar frigate V without feeling dirty.

| The idea with the omni tank is to allow you to survive MWDing back to the gate if you run into a gate camp.

| Turret tracking is determined by the stats of the gun and your Motion Prediction skill level. What ship you put it on has no effect (other than ones like the Rifter that have a tracking bonus). |

| Aye, you could put those medium turrets on the larger ship to take down smaller ships more easily. However, they will not benefit from large turret damage bonuses that are present on the Battleships. If you want to take out medium/small ships, you would probably be better off getting in a BC (battlecruiser) designed to give damage bonuses to medium turrets. The BC also are more agile compared to their whale-like battleship counterparts, making it easier to maneuver to take out the smaller ships (whereas the battleship is more like a floating rock that pew pews). Was your question purely hypothetical or did you have a specific purpose in mind? |

| Sorry this is slightly off topic but I think im finally gonna give this game a try, just wanted to know if there is anything I can screw up in the beginning that will mess up my dude/ship whatever later on (like giving a war int in EQ or something). From this thread it seems clear to stay away from Am, Gallente is FoTM, and Minnies are hard to master but awesome once you do? Is there a link to any sort of EVE dictionary, even the guides on their website are full of all this jargon I have no idea what it means, thanks for any help, sorry to newb it up.

As far as ship types go the starting race really doesnt determine what ship types you will fly, you will lose very little overall training time if you wanted your gallente to fly amarr or whatever.
