| Probably going to be waiting forever. Not really related to balancing of classes, but remember how long it took for troll/ogre to have that helm glitch fixed while fighting? Just another example of how long EQ was far from perfect. Probably going to see patch notes similar to this when we have a new president

"NOTE: This patch is noticeably larger than previous updates because we are adding new art assets to the game. Look for more news about this coming soon!" I'm guessing they're just trying to break up all the art assets we'll have to download into a few patches, and then they'll make them live all at once, but I guess we have to wait for their word. I'm just guessing really, but you can see what files are being downloaded on the launcher and those were some that stuck out to me. There were a lot of files that had "weapon" and "armor" in them, and it looked like some new animations too.

| Ah, in that case I wouldn't be entirely too optimistic; during Beta they pushed a ton of art assets through (especially shaders and such) and rarely were there noticable differences. Of course now that it's release, maybe the changes will be much more significant and not minor tweaks that most people won't notice. |

| Maybe they should have extended that unibody idea into a unihead feature as well.

+228 Internets | I guess at this point we've totally lost the focus of the thread, especially after like page 2 or so. I am assuming that Nino was indeed discouraged from posting here (at least concerning VG), and that he cannot confirm this w/o looking bad for talking about it in Sigils eyes. Not to mention the possibility of coming here and saying:"Yeah, they told me I couldn't post" could quite possibly precipitate another shitstorm, this one going after Sigil for preventing Nino from posting. Has there been any actual, pertinent talk about Nino's situation since Monday, the day that Nino had predicted he would be talked to? It's been several days of flames, unrelated discussion and other crap. Back to the threads original flavor: it would indeed be to bad that forum drama ended up screwing Nino over, and I would hope that the predictions of what would happen to be wrong. Myself I'm pretty glad that I dont have to worry about what I post (or what others post) affecting my career, and that I can pretty much post whatever I want whenever I care to. |
