After reading this thread, I'll just say that some of you people should be very glad I'm not a moderator. Mr. Clean would look like an amateur at making things spic-and-span before I got done.

I personally would hate things to be 'spic and span' here. This is a forum for discussion. It contains flames, rants, legitimate discussion, dev postings, retarded posting. I've learned whose posts to read and whose to ignore. I think its fine the way it is and change could bring about a lot of negative results.

What's bullshit to one may be pertinent or enlightening or flat-out entertaining to another. The problem is that it is very subjective, and anyone that would want to clean it up is already biased one way or the other.

On another note, since comparisons of Silky Venom and this place pop up from time to time, I'm sometimes surprised at how this place is portrayed as being worse. Sure we have our fair share of dedicated trolls, but reading the SV forums I'd say theirs are at least half the population. You even have some Nino-bashing going on over there right now.

Yeah, they're not the most welcoming people. Some guy was posting about a bug that let pallies do lots of extra damage and got flamed for being a PvPer and ruining it for the PvE pallies that were speed-leveling with it. Because apparently Vanguard is a PvE game so screw the PvPers. Yeah, real nice.
