this thing polls the armory for your guild data then puts out a chart comparing stats by class.

Very nice tool. Would be good to compare some of those stats with damage meters on certain encounters to compare all of your rogues or other DPS classes. You see Rogue A: with a really high crit/atk/etc, and Rogue B: with a moderate crit/atk/etc and Rogue B consistently outperforms Rogue A, then you can investigate it and 'help' Rogue A, be it replacing him or by getting him to fix what he's doing.

For raid performance measurements we would do similar things like these metrics, but this tool would make it significantly easier.

The stats fluctuate too much to be useful to this degree. They don't take into account gear swaps and they appear to add in whatever buffs you happen to have when they are snapshotted. A neat toy though.

That's not a helpworthy offense at all. When he starts talking about vertically integrating the guild to boost overall raiding throughput and downsizing to reduce the logistical burden of consumable farming is when you start to worry.

Nope. I have a very good manager who moved up from a technical position who protects us from actually having to deal with those kind of buzzwords on a day-to-day basis while teaching us how to use them to get things we need to be more productive.

I think the thing I'll miss most about WoW is that, thanks to its HUGE audience, there are some seriously quality mods out there. Like this thing. You're never gonna see this for EQ2 or Vanguard.
