Don't associate old with being a poor gamer. There are a bunch of 30+ year olds on this board that have been playing MMO's since before some of you were weened from your mom's teet.

I loved Pong on the Commador and Chopper Command on the Atari. They were the first 2 video games I ever owned. I remember getting the Commador when it was first released and my dad and I would sit and play it for hours at a time.

I was logging off last night and the joke for the evening was when somebody asked to join the kinship (we don't invite pubbies, regardless but that's not the point) they were making them form their request in Sindarin (elven language), well it appears that the Sindarin dictionary (there fucking is one?!) does not contain a definition for the word "Join".

I had someone yell at me in game, and really start verbally abusing me for typing the word "plz" for please the other day. Normally I don't type that way, however I was typing quick in battle and they guy wouldn't shuttup about it and kept telling me to go back to WOW. I'd of loved to punch that guy in the face. I hate RP lore-fucks. They can walk to hell for all I care.

Well... you happen to have run into an extreme case, but I wouldn't call him an RP-lore fuck.

You have to admit that kind of twitch-kiddie talk is annoying as all hell, and if we can prevent LotRO from going in that direction, we should.
