New racial abilities and stats - The BSD

These were taken this morning, they even added some interesting diplomacy factors to each race.

I'd figure they were going to give them the large race 2 % mitigation my self, but w/ that racial +10 to a weapon isn't too shabby ;D.

Indeed they are. Orcs will receive the Large Race benefit and Half Elves get Human Ingenuity.

IMO, I think games need more racial/class combos like "Pride of the Vael" which is availible to Halfling Warriors only.

God damnit. Here I was, thinking I could avoid Vanguard because they have dumbed it down and made every "choice" inconsequential and insignificant. Now they go and add things like those racial abilities that actually have a huge impact on gameplay (IE that halfling hate-clear and hate-gain). This then adds a large "wow" factor (be it good or bad) when you play an abnormal race/class combo, which I am prone to do. Now I want to play Vanguard. Douches.

Actually, after reading those, I guess it boils down to the cooldown on those abilities. If they're all on a 20+ timer, it doesn't seem nearly as big a deal as if they're sub-5.

Still seems like they stacked the deck an awful lot in favor of humans for all the melee classes.

I don't know, a halfling warrior, with 2% avoidance and the hate aggro thing would be sweeter at high end than the bonus weapon skill. IMHO, anyway.

Still if you want to love Vanguard give it 6 more months.

It's not ready and there's really few testers stating otherwise.

Else the frustation will overcome the freshness like happened to so many titles in the past.

Those with rl willpower to wait until the first xpac should experience a really nice game.
