I thought beating the raid encounters as soon as possible was an inherent part of the game, not done solely for guild recruitment PR purposes...as this stunt obviously was.

And thank you for proving my goddamn fucking point. Yes, a lot of people tried to achieve this goal of "first to hit level 70" and thus news like this is applicable to good deal of people, though obviously not you.

At about 65 or so we'd heard that someone on alliance was near 66 and talking trash so we had a race from that point on and i think we were 70 before he was 69. It was pretty fun though and I'd never slept so good as I did after that.

I'd totally do it again though, there's nothing comparable to leveling in empty zones devoid of retards. It was nice to actually enjoy wow for once in a long time.
