+37 Internets | What Tyen said is mostly true, but I'd like to add that when him and myself were able to work together while 6xing, the exp was staggering. It takes a good spot and some teamwork to pull it off but you can really level fast if you can get 2 people holding a 6x multiplier within exp range of each other but killing their own shit.

| Well obviously, they get more money that way. I'd agree though, this game doesn't seem to be designed as an MMO. It's more of a single-player action RPG, complete with a serious lack of depth when it comes to mechanics. The number of abilities available to your character resembles more closely Secret of Mana than say, World of Warcraft. |

| Well, what I grasp from the posts here is that you can level up pretty quick simply passing up the quest/lore content in the game and effortlessly grinding mobs, grouping is pointless, support classes by that definition useless as well and there's nothing to do once leveling past 40 ? Geeh, exciting. |

+37 Internets | There's 40-50 content now, there just wasn't at the time that I made that video.

+38 Internets | There is 40-50 content just no raids and extremely few places. They opened up the 40+ zone (not zones) last week.By the time we even get that level when the game is live the zones will be open and populated but who knows about raids. Just thought I would elaborate that part. |

+3 Internets | Do you think they even have a chance of fixing the lack of community/grouping/raiding before the mid-October release date, or is this destined to be another "pay for Beta" title? |

+6 Internets | Im not sure if its the clone system or the class-choice decision tree or what but when I got to the point of picking Solider or Specialist I cloned myself and then logged back in and selected Specialist with my clone... Only now I had a character with no armor, no weapons, no money, none of the skills I had before and my only damage ability needed a Logos I hadn't acquired yet. I ran off to get that one Logos and then discovered that the ability I unlocked with it, Decay, was pretty much useless and that I had much better luck walking up to the Bane and kicking them to death. I was rather enjoying the lightning tossing etc activities I had up until level 5 and then afterwards it was a total let down. |

I was really looking forward to buying TR but I probably won't, just don't really see myself playing more than 30-40 minutes a week. What bums me out is that I was all set to pre-order Hellgate too, but my experience with TR has made me very hesistent I hope Hellgate has a short open beta period so we can check that out, at least that game has a free play model available if not.

| Logos should copy over to the clone (at least they did a patch before). Skills are reset by cloning - you have to put points into them again (same as when respecing in WoW). As mentioned, you can transfer gear between characters via AFS lockers. |

+6 Internets | I didn't know the lockers were per last-name and so didn't use them to transfer any cash or weapons to mini-me. When I cloned I immediately switched to Specialist and in so doing noted that I had a total skill reset but I didnt see any of my old skills as being available to put points into but maybe there was a different tab or something I missed. I really don't see any utility to a utility character right now since people don't seem to ever need healing or repairing and the DoT ability seems to work on a geologic timescale which is unfortunate as mobs have a lifespan of about 1.5 seconds. |

On the other hand half of "righties" (Sapper subtree) get the Shield Extender and Mech Armor, which is IMO stronger than Gravitron Armor in terms of survivability - similar absorbtion, smaller armor pool, insane regeneration. What they currently lack is a top of the line weapon class. Then again, Rocket Launcher has been nerfed to stone age if global chat is to be trusted. It's only the Medic subtree that is beyond any hope. Then again, there's more than enough time till lauch for the nerfbat to swing a few more times.
